I haven't logged into this website for a year, and I've been playing this game since season 2. Just came to ask, what the fuck happened to Swain? Why does he look 40 years younger? WHERE IS BEATRICE?

Another Rework one more displacement in the game. Terrible
I honestly have no clear way of saying this. I hate his redesign. That's it. I hate the way he looks now. I hate that he looks like Lucius Malfoy. Don't get me wrong, his abilities look okay. I just hate that Swain has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE A GRAND GENERAL!! Where is his old injury? Where is the mystery he had? Would an ACTUAL general walk around with a hair style like that? Heck his skins look BETTER then what he looks like now. I honestly wish there was an option that could allow you delete his actual appearance and be replaced by a skin. This is not Swain. This is Vladimir. The one reason why I ever picked up Swain, was because he LOOKED COOL. This Swain.... He looks stupid, he has nothing that says "General" about him, he doesn't look like a person who would be on the front line, he looks more like he was a cowardly side villain who's job is to be the sorry excuse of a yes man who only knows how to run away when things get heated and only stays when it is a clear victory. I HATE this appearance. This is practically general grievous all over again! I don't hate his abilities, they are okay. They look like fun and challenging. His skins... They're better then his current appearance. I am just disappointed that Riot made him look like this...
Signed on just to complain about the rework. The skills are boring as hell, Very uncreative IMO. Swains as he stands now is WAY they hell better then whatever the heck you call this. I don't feel like he is the raven KING at all you guys basically stripped him of it and gave him just plain old warlock powers how cool, Nice vlad spin off.... not. Very very unhappy with his rework. I was SUPER excited when I saw this but then I watched all the abilities and game play and was terribly disappointed. Come the hell on RITO.

My problem with the "NEW" Swain is he is not unique anymore you can find it like this
related to Saruman, Lucius Malfoy, Star Wars Emperor, to an infinite and beyond of generic mages, mixed with cloths of evil generic villain with a resemblance of Nazi character (Just left the svastic somewhere).
And skills dont help, he have thunders from starwars emperor, the Sauroon´s Eye, and a evil hand made of blood or something like that, the only unique in the "NEW" swain is what left of his old R, because now even the passive, a strategic element of know when atack, and save mana to make the real assault to your foe, has ben changed by stacks, what is already so cliche on this game who you can find it in almost any, new/reworked champ.
The worst has been his change of attitude and lore, now he is not anymore a mysterious char, because is so generic who I already know what is gonna be his next step (Atack Demacia directly) and try of kill J4 is in his list.
So... He is related to Black Rose? definitely, and he is not using the Black Rose to his purposes, he is inside of Black Rose as a member to hold the power in Black Rose -.-
Geez is so generic who I cant resist it and Im gonna ask to Riot kick it out from my pool champ to dont buy it never more.

I was hoping he'd be more raven themed. Personally kind of disappointed but aside from his theme, definitely an improvement over his old kit.
Concerned about the ult duration/cooldown/mana cost though.
40 years younger? I don't think you really know what an 80 year old man looks like....
Anyway Beatrice doesn't seem to be part of his skillset anymore,you can see a raven in his splash art,but it looks like that might be just one of many.
I suppose that beatrice was either retconned or she is the demon that gave Swain his new hand
I don't think they will totally rule out Beatrice of the lore, but yes she is indeed less present. Probably a demon he fused with hence why you don't see her much. She does appear in his splash arts though so she still exist. The ult make me think it, they just merged together.
I've never been more underwhelmed nor disappointed by a rework before, this dosent even feel like swain. It just feels like a lazy glad conversion. I loved playing swain and the thematic feel of his raven(s). Now he has lost most of that feel, never move looks like rocky spikes rather than a ravens claws, Beatrice is gone. They threw out the badass transformation and murder of ravens for some half assed strapped on looking wings, and now he has an over glorified blue trinket eyeball bullshit in place of a dot damage amp?! In my humble opinion the biggest blunder of a rework yet.
New Swain is really bad. I speak as a main Swain player and own multiple skins. His new kit is unplayable as stated by myself and pro players. I hope Riot does another rework on Swain because this one failed. His old Q was the best poke ability ever. His old abilities all worked together in close combat. His new kit is useless.
