I noticed something playing as Poppy vs Wukong (Questioning Wukongs title as "monkey king")
So, if you hit
with your buckler,
will say "sorry your majesty" just like if you hit
. Now I get he is called the Monkey "King", so that might explain why she says it. But then I got to thinking about who wukong is as a character in league and realized nowhere in his lore does it say he became a king or even if he just gave himself that title.
Sure the original story of Wukong explains it all in detail, but as far as League lore is concerned, it doesn't say anything about him being a king of anything. Even the part mentioning other monkeys was extremely short and never even hinted that they made him their king.
So that raises the question; why is he even called the monkey king in League in the first place? Why isn't his title something that fits his in game lore like "the Wuju apprentice" or "The Stone Monkey". Was this just an oversight by Riot when making him or is
hinting something like how she's hinting
is from Mount Targon in her second joke? At the very least when Riot goes to update his lore, they need to keep in mind he is called "the monkey king" and give some detail as to how he got that title in the first place.
