Well, the Chinese website of LoL just added the Garen teaser

As we can see it's a little different than what most of us expected, for it to be connected to his face shatering, but still. So in the image we see something coming out of his left shoulder, probably an emerald ( HYPE), but if we look close we can see that next to his face there are shards that look similar to the ones on his new gif icon: http://imgur.com/9X8wGgM

I get why people are trying to link the shattering to Taric but come on guys. That's the only possible link and it just doesn't fit well with the rest.

But yeah, I suspected a body shattering, and it's potentially indicative of Garen's conflict between his duty and himself; how much he's willing to forsake for the cause in favour of what he truly wants. Maybe deep down the relationships with Lux and Katarina both are tearing him from his duty, as he tries to figure out what he wants as a man and what is needed of him as a soldier.

No idea what this means for a potential Vi teaser; tomorrow's new year's eve so I doubt there'll be one, but I don't sodding know at this point.

They shot Sona in the throat

It's almost definitely related to the new champion (Gypsylord's recent "!" responses to threads discussing these teasers all but confirm it) but I guess we can't know for sure until we see what this leads up to.

I wonder if these teasers have to do with desires. Sona's voice (or lack there of) Zed's "knowledge" perhaps (It's in his head, where secrets are kept. "Secrets kept are weapons wasted"), Garen's heart and what he really wants (To both protect Demacia and perhaps be with katarina?) And Vi... well, we don't know where she's hit but I guess we'll see.

He's being shot in the heart. He talks a decent amount about his heart being for Demacia and stuff. He's questioning his duty and he loves Katarina and stuff.
