Short Champion "Lores"

It kinda disturbs me just a bit how the champion lores recently haven't been real lores... They've just been little descriptions, and i mean it's obvious you still care about the lores, but i just wish you wouldn't make them descriptions of the champions on the actual launcher, like how even though it was a story rather than a lore, Gnar's lore seems to be where it looks like you gave up, as well as with the sorta "reworked" lores, like Thresh, Trist, and Amumu, they just seem to get very lazy and lack luster. Also, about the whole removing summoner's thing, i understand that you don't want your champions to be like puppets, but, if you made it more of a clear way to say that they aren't puppets, but the summoners have a magical connection to the champs, guiding them through this war, i feel like it would have made it better than just removing them. I mean theres so many things to do with the summoners, summoner spells, and the main map has always been called Summoner's Rift, and quotes where the champion directly talks to the summoner, those are kinda charming, knowing your an all powerful being guiding these champions through a never ending war, also with Sona... She can only talk to the summoner. Im sorry if this is going on for too long, I just had to get these thoughts out to where you guys could hopefully see it.

Despite the wall of text, I completely agree.

Except you got in wrong on one case. Summoner's were never all powerful beings. In fact, the original lore indicated that they were humans with special powers. Powerful yes, but not anything close to gods.

For example, Lee Sin is a trained summoner in the original lore...sure, he's a good jungler, but he's not invincible.

The short lores are meants as a quick intro for the champ. Some champs got their full lores released here on the boardsKalista Azir Xerath ),you can find them if you look at their lol-wiki page.Amumus full lore was also leaked, but hasn't been officially released(again the wiki kept track of it) The plan is to add links to different lore pieces after the short lore, but there are supposedly some tech issues preventing that, which is why these champs are stuck with their short lore.(don't ask me why they keep pushing out short lores if they can't add the full lore)

RekSai Bard & Ekko all didn't get a full lore piece, but instead different promotional stuff as their lore(all 3 got a video,Rek'sai got a bunch of diary-entries of a noxian trying to capture her,Bard got a teaser site and Ekko got his comic)

I always saw the summoners as working WITH their champions, not moving them around like puppets. For instance, Garen knows how to fight, and the summoner working with him is why he knows what's going on in every lane (where you have vision, at least). The summoners watch the fighting from a farther perspective back than the champ him/herself and they advise their champions of what's going on and where they should be. Also they support them with the summoner spells they've chosen to use.

That is perspective. One could say they're partners.

Another could say that the summoner's are still using the champions as puppets because the summoner sought out their own champion to fight with.
