New Champ Jhin the Deadeye? theory stuff.

Did you know that if you were to go to the Garen profile page right now you would see an animated portrait and a secret trailer of him getting shot in the chest? For anyone who doesn't know about the Deadeye new champion theory, then here is my personnel theory and a breakdown explanation of the whole idea. Enjoy. Please. (Also Rito don't ban me plz.) Also IMPORTANT there is some spoilers here for any who haven't seen the trailer, but all are welcome to view this, at your own risk.

J is for joy Important point here for my theory H is for hardy or durable. Additionally meaning Jhin is relentless. I is for intense (definetely expressed in the deadeye trailers for champions, Zed, Sona, Garen, Vi) N is for natural as in inevitable or normal. By the way I got this from a name descriptions website called: www.names.org. Yea, that simple. Not even joking. I did tweak it a little though.

Possibly important pattern here: Zed(Three letters, middle laner), Sona (Four letters, support), Garen (Five letters, top laner), and Vi (Although not Six letters, Roman Numerals VI mean the number six. Also jungler)

Each fit a role in the game of League of Legends. Garen top, Zed mid, Vi jungle, and Sona support. Missing ADC. However, in each trailer for Deadeye or Jhin, there is a gunshot noise at the start of each one and they each recieve a gunshot wound. Meaning that if Deadeye wields a gun to kill these characters, then it would make sense that he would be an ADC to fill up the last role.

Additional trailer facts: Zed is shot in the head, and flowers spring out on the other side of his head. Sona is shot in the throat and smoke comes out of her mouth. Garen is shot in the chest (proposedly in his heart) and crystals come out of his back. Vi is still unkown, but from the animated portrait released, it appears to be fire and embers coming out of her chest, meaning that she may possibly get shot in the back.

My theory: Jhin is good. I know This may seem to be a VERY far fetched theory, but there is evidence to support this. First of all, notice where each of these champions were shot.(Except Vi, because there is still no video trailer for deadeye on her info yet.) What I'm trying to say is perhaps Jhin is curing these champions and granting their desires, but they each have to face a trial of pain in order to achieve this, much like how Kalista "kills" her support at the start of every game to each make them more powerful against their opponents.

Lets start with Zed. Zed was shot in the eye and and the flowers emerged from his other eye and his neck. first of all, Zed is evil. We all now this, just one glance at him and you'll know he is evil. What I'm saying is perhaps Jhin is curing Zed of his dark evil, but as I said earlier, each of these champions must undergo a trial of pain in order to achieve what they desire. And although it may seem that Zed is satisfied with his power, we also know that he is definetly possessed by something, wether it be Nocturne, or some other spectral being, we know that anything Zed says is not from him truly but from whatever it is that is possessing him. Of course Zed is still an enemy to Shen and still expressess his anger for Shen, but mostly possessers want to hide the fact that they are possessing a target. Possessers additionaly are granted any knowledge that the possessed person or thing has. (by the way, I think whatever is possessing Zed is doing a terrible job at hiding.) Anyway, I believe that deep down, Zed regrets his evil path and has even prieviously tried to retreat from the path of darkness (As is told in Zed's lore, he agreed to follow his master into the temple, face the box, and become a Kinkou ninja again like Shen, Akali, and Kennen.) So, the reason Jhin would be curing Zed of his evil is because the true Zed, not the possesed one, wants to be himself again and be good again. Now, I don't know about you, but I think a bullet to the eye is pretty painful. Ok, done with Zed, lets move on to Sona.

Sona is gonna be much easier for me to explain and you to understand. If any remember, in the trailer for Deadeye, Sona was shot in the throat and smoke emerged from her mouth. We can also see the bullet trace from the left of her neck, and the blood spatter coming from the right of her throat, and the bullet inside of her throat. Now, for Sona, Jhin is curing her muteness. I mean, it really is pretty simple, why else would Jhin purposefully aim for her throat? Especially at the SIDE of her neck. If Jhin is really some monstrous cold-blooded killer, why would he care where he shoots, so long as his opponent is dead? Also, why would he shoot where he knew his victims were having problems? Now I know you might be saying "Well, Jhin did headshot Zed through his eye, and thats a pretty basic kill to do, right?" Yes, in fact, Jhin shot Zed in his head because his brain is in there, and the biggest thing that possessers go for is the mind and the brain and the whole thought and control system. Jhin is shooting him there because thats where the possesser is, and Jhin is clearing Zed's mind of the Possesser, like drawing poison from a wound. Kinda like how Gandalf was curing king Theoden from the possession of Saruman, from Lord of the Rings in the second movie, "The Two Towers." (sorry if I spelled any of those names wrong.) Anyway, Jhin shoots Sona in the throat because he is, in actuallity, returning Sona's voice to herself. Now, were moving to Garen, and then I will have a small explanation for Vi, but not as long as these other ones because the Deadeye trailer for Vi hasn't been released yet.

Garen is also gonna be easy to explain because his is real simple just like Sona's. In the Deadeye trailer, we see Garen getting shot, in what looks like his shoulder, is actually his heart. The bullet is only exiting out of his shoulder, making it look like it was a shot through the shoulder. Now, we ALL know Garen and Katarina are in love, but we also ALL know that they are enemies because Garen is a commander for Demacia and Katarina is an assassin for Noxus. Demacia and Noxus are ancient enemies, even those of us who couldn't care less about the lore of the game know this. Anyway, Jhin is shooting Garen in the heart, because Jhin is playing a little bit of cupid here. Jhin knows Garen is smitten by Katarina, but he also knows that love with the enemy faction is punishable by (at the lightest) banishment. Jhin is giving Garen the chance to be with Katarina and be happy and not have to fight her or fight for her. Once again this comes with a price, Garen must suffer immense pain in order to be granted what he wants, like getting shot through the chest, or metaphorically suffer much worse. Wait a sec, why the heart? Well, what's the first thing you think of when you hear the word love? A heart, right? Or maybe something else, but generally people think of a heart when they think about love. Thats why Jhin is shooting Garen in the heart, because he knows love is where Garen is suffering the most, like how Sona is having most of her problems with her lack of voice, and how Zed is having most of his problem's with himself and his possesser. Now I will do a short explanation for Vi, but it's not gonna be that good as these other's because I really don't have much to build off of for her.

To be honest, I really don't know what the problem specifically is with Vi. But, of course I did research on youtube, and found most of the famous league of legends youtubers, like Brofesco for example, were saying that her problem was her bloodlust for battle. And we all know Vi is definately a punch happy person, saying qoutes like "Vi stands for Violence!" and "C'mon! Resist arrest already!" and "Punch first, then ask questions while punching." and there are most likely more quotes from her that can be listed here, but I think three is good enough. So I do think Jhin is curing her bloodlust for the price of her suffering immensly. As for where she is getting shot, I don't have the slightest idea, but I think she might get shot on the arm or both arms, because arms are used for fighting and she does have her Hextech gauntlets on her arms. Now I can finally wrap this up with a conclusion and small conception on other theories out there, and I'm not saying my theory is better than any others, this is just my idea of who Jhin is and how he is.

Ok, finally I have the conclusion here, then I'm gonna tell you guys about the other theories people have. This is also a Q and A combo.

Q: Why would Jhin bother helping these people?

A: Well, did you know genie is actually the english version of the word Jhin? Jhin is an arabian mythological being that is traditionally depicted as a spectral being in a bottle that grants mortals a limited number of wishes, however (unlike depicted in the Disney movie 'Alladin') there is always a catch. Basically, what I'm saying is Jhin is perhaps a Shuriman being granting each Zed, Sona, Garen, and Vi a wish for what they want but like a traditional genie, making a price to pay for this wish. As I described, the price each of these four must suffer is immense pain and is able to stand through it, coining the letter explanation at the start of this, H for hardy relentlessness.

Q: You're saying that Jhin is a good guy, but with the subtitle of Deadeye? What else makes you think Jhin is a good guy?

A: Well, when it comes to League of Legends lore, you really can't judge a book by it's cover. I never said that just because Jhin is good, he has to look the part too. I mean, look at Kalista, lots of people think she is a bad guy and write stories about her and Thresh being practically the same person. In actuallity, Kalista and Jhin are both anti-heroes. For those who don't know what that is, it's basically a person who does things for the greater good. For example, Wolverine, Hulk, and even Magneto are anti-heroes. Hulk is a slightly different story however. Anti-heroes will sacrifice ANYTHING for the greater good. Kalista kills the people who wronged those who swore their souls to her. Jhin will grant wishes to poeple, but makes them suffer for it.

Q: You said Jhin was a genie, so is he gonna look like a genie?

A: I seriously doubt he will look remotely close to a genie, but I do think he might have a bit of a spectral look about him. Don't be expecting a spin-off Nocturne, but more like an Underworld Twisted Fate.

OK, I know I have put more than enough things on here, but I just want to add the fact that if you look REAL close in the picture for the Deadeye Garen, to the right of Garen, you can see a face there. You might have to brighten up the screen a little. To me, it looks like the upper half of a face, like the eyes and the top of the nose bridge. One of the eyes is closed really hard and the other one is opened up normally. Hence the term 'Deadeye' I also noticed that no other youtuber or researcher talked about this or even noticed it.

This is the last thing I swear, I now must tell briefly what other theories are. But me being me, It's probably gonna be much longer than I have promised. So one theory is that Jhin is punishing these four because of their greed. Uh... what greed? These are each a people who are suffering from personnel problems, and being punished even further makes little to no sense. Now, some people might be saying, "But Kalista punished certain people." well, that's because she had a fair reason. Each of the champions that she was punishing each had a terrible sin that they did. Hecarim, for hate and wrath, Twisted Fate for greed, and so on. Another very weak theory is that each of them are being possessed by Jhin and are each gonna get some Deadeye skin in game, but thats really lame and not that strong. Riot did not change the character profiles for skins, but they did for champions. Like Kalista targeting certain champions and it made each of those targeted champions have mist around there character profiles when you were to see them on the League of Legends website. Same thing with Jinx, she trashed up Vi's and Caitlyn's character profile pages before she was released because lore-wise they were enemies.

Ok, I'm finally done. Thank you to everyone who actually took the time to read all of my rambling and Jhin predictions. Oh yea, and because they showed Zed, Garen, Sona, and evetnually Vi all shot and dead, I was thinking that there might be some ability that perhaps damages your team in some way, but buffs them up immensly another way. Ok I really am done here, and once again thank you for reading this, it REALLY means alot to me. I was working on this from eight 'o clock 'till midnight, so please give me some credit. GOODBYE EVERYONE!!!

Gj for me this is the best theory about jhin so far and i think you might have been right about his ability that somehow he damageshis team mates and than he gives them extraordinarly buffs.

Also, in his new Mind of the Virtuoso trailer, the tagline is "I will make you beautiful, I will make you perfect, which ties into what you were saying about curing ailments
