So Pantheon is getting VFX recolors (and a recall for baker) for all of his 975 skins for the rework

...but Morde's only other 975 rp skin besides Pentakill can't even get fully recolored purple vfx? Come on now Riot, what happened to the whole consistency thing?

p.s. I'm not trying to hate on the artists, this is in no way their fault and the work they all do on both new skins and champs is amazing. I'm just frustrated that Riot again seems to be ignoring their own guidelines in favor of a more popular champ (Although I am glad Pantheon is not gonna get shafted like Mordekaiser was).

Mordekaiser's base skin isn't even finished yet. He doesn't have a respawn animation like all the new champions and his recall is still busted and he glitches into the ground. That's aside from the fact that Riot forced the artist working on his particles to stop after he did the passive on the skins, I really don't understand why they are taking such a hardline stance against Mordekaiser players.

As you can see by mordes current ban rate and pick rate hes only not popular because he isn't allowed to be popular.

Nerf, Lee, Yasuo, Riven Ezreal and crew and see how "popular" they still are.

Have you guys seen Mordes ult? The face that SR completely vanishes outside the ring, and is replaced with floating rocks.

I can almost guarentee you that his effects took waaaaaay longer than any other champ to create, since they needed to create brand new tech and figure out how to make it look right (wasn't just a bunch of flashy explosions like most champs).

That's most likely why his skins didn't all get new particles, the actual particles themselves took up all the development time. Prob why they did a flame version and stopped there, prob took way too much time to make a second color variation.

Compare that to panth who has some really simple stuff, plenty of time for a bunch of recolors and such.
