Aumum's curse

Is it possible that Ryze made curse on Amumu required by ancient Shurima royal family as at that time Amumu invented sun disk and beloved by people and eventually became king. In terms of thought of the royal family, Amumu is not the member of royal family ( he may be a yordle ), therefore, they may require Ryze to make curse on him and let him be alone in his rest of life in order to take back the power in the future,
