Fizz's Trident is Connected with Ornn

Fizz's Trident, which he found in the ruins of his city when he returned to no-one, was forged by Ornn and given to someone. In the papers behind the Old Freljordian song, near the bottom it reads:

Then he turned east and threw h.... ....ed in the Great Sea. Some say, later, a mer-k.... ...e sea-bottom, and still uses it to rule his kingdom.

The trident could have belonged to the ruler of fizz's home and fizz happened upon it when he went back to find his home in shambles. Just a thought but it has me hyped for sure.
