Riot, Please Revamp The Mistreated Legendary Skins
Skins like Primetime Draven and Surprise Party Fiddlesticks seriously need some TLC. They need things like unique animations and are basically just less... legendary then others.
rito please

To be fair, these skins are much cheaper than regular legendaries,so them not being on par with the others makes kinda sense
they are priced at 975 despite being Legendary tier
Thats what I said.
Especially Prime time Draven is actually better than a regular 975-skin with his own VO.
Though surprise party fiddle could need an update, but I guess that will only happen once he gets a VGU.
The Draven skin is priced 975 because of a permanent discount from an event. I think the skins should be lowered a tier or updated. Lowering they're tier gets rid of the discount and ride the skin of its importance to the event.
I understand they are good skins and it is a good deal but I'm arguing that it's a bit of false advertising. They are lacking the qualities of legendary skins, therefore, should not be called legendary.
While they are cheaper they are still labeled legendary and do not meet the requirements. A safer solution would to be lowering they're teir, but the Draven Skin for example was a legendary skin that was discounted permanently in celebration of esports.
The thing is that lowering them to a different tier would actually make them less worth than they are now since riot also does events where you get something extra if you buy a legendary skin(which does take these 2 skins into account).
That's true, which is even more reason for them to not lower the price and instead just add the few missing aspects to the skins that are lacking. Or in cases like Annie in Wonderland they should be reworked entirely.
The price was already lowered for these 2 skins though(and they still count as legendary) and its not because they aren't on par with others, but as a treat to the community. There is not really a reason why Riot would need to update the skins to make them on par with regular legendaries, since these 2 aren't meant to be full legendaries, but "cheap" legendaries.
party fiddle sticks is fine imo, I am not familiar with the draven skin though
Draven got a new voice-over for that skin. Fiddlesticks got new particle effects. They are good for what they are meant to be and their price point.
Those two are both legendary, but permanetly discounted at 975 and thus making them quite fine for what they offer.
Others that are "Legendary" are still priced at 1820 and offer little to nothing for that price, i.e. Annie in Wonderland. You would have thought when they did updates on some of these champs in the past (Annie VU) that would have put more effect into giving the skins some love.

I would argue that it doesn't make them "quite fine for what they offer simply because riot has set standards on what a legendary skin has and to advertise skins that don't meet those requirements as legendary seems underhanded. I don't believe they are trying to be sneaky, but rather they've got their plate full as the largest played game in the world. Regardless of the price they still label it legendary is my point. And I was playing thinking about other skins like Annie in wonderland and the plethora of outdated skins, I just mentioned two skins that were outliers by mistake. They are "newer" skins yet don't meet the standards.
