4 years until the last cassiopeia skin... why ?

so i've been playing cassiopeia for a while and i wanted to buy a skin for her, but then i realised that her last skin was 4 years ago... i was just wondering why riot had not made a new skin for her while some champions are getting 2 skins a year... i know she's not the only one that hasn't gotten any skins for a long period of time, but still...

so if anyone from riot could explain to me why she has to wait 4 years for a new skin while some champs gets 2 skins a year i'd be very gratefull. thank you, Blurriness

I want Cass to get a skin that turns her tail from snake to centipede's. Maybe a Death Blossom skin? Would be a great alternate design for a creepy skin.

? centipedes ? I think you are trying to make a new champion other than what she is meant to be which is a snake.

Not really. All it would do to her tail is change her tail to include tiny legs. Champions with animal themes often have skins that change their animal completely, ex. Sejuani's boar as a bear or Poro, Twitch as a raccoon, Anivia as a pterodactyl, etc.

They really couldn't care less about Cass, really. I've been actively reminding them over a year now on weekly (!) basis with a constant update on the number of days since Jade Fang Cass was released (it's at 1452 days right now) and they haven't done a single thing to remedy the situation.

On superrare occasions one of them will tell you that they haven't forgotten about her just to disappear for a good year after without any followup actions. They did that twice so far, by the way. That's 2 years of hollow promises - pretty sad, ain't it?

But let's give Ahri, Lux, Vi, Ekko & pals another skin, they need them sooo much more.

They just updated her tail animation tech, so if history has told us anything (Liss, Ahri, etc) a new skin is usually soon after that.

I've been sending them artwork for incredible fanconcepts since over a year now which they supposedly put into a special folder for inspiration and nothing has happened since then. So many perfect opportunities wasted, it's simply unreal. Cass could easily fit into any of the skinthemes that were released last season.

They gave her Jade Fang Cassiopeia on the year of the snake. That could have had potential to be a great skin, if it weren't for the rediculously cheesy snakes on her hat thing. If they had given her an Asian/Chinese headdress from imperial times, it would have been great.

I could see a Pool Party Cass (spitting poisonous water) or a Beach Party Cass. It would be hard to pull off a Program or Project Cass though. A Elderwood (Fairy) Cass might work.

Yeah Im still waiting for a shen skin too. 4 years... Atleast he got his rework. They slightly buff him 2 patch ago so I expect a skin in the near futur.

I bet cassiopia is in the same boat since they updated her tails ! Hype yourself buddy. Cassiopeia
