Because his current model is pretty bad/outdated (It's and empty walking pyramid!)
I've always like and STILL like Kass, i just love his playstyle and even after the nerfs and all, i still enjoy playing him top or mid. I even get crazy good scores! :p
But i definitely think he could use some love :3
What do you guys think?
I think we have opportunities to do an MTU on him. He sorta just floats so I'm not sure how much animation support we'd need. His particles got a nice pass not too long ago so I could see us plugging in a new model, nothing however is marked on the schedule for such an implementation. He has a fair amount of skins too so we'd have to load that work up also.
Getting a VU vs a decent VU is the same thing. LOL
I love playing Kassadin as well and I agree, he needs a bit of a visual update since it looks outdated when compared to other champions. However, it is not something that he needs desperately and Riot will give him a vu if they get a chance. They just have a lot on their plate right now.
I'd wager that Kassadin is definitely on the list, but I think he has to compete with Taric, Poppy, and Morde in that race.
Kassadin's probably really high on the list, problem is he's a really intensive, high scope VU, which means it'll take a lot more work than other potential VUs. Nowhere near Sion level but still, pretty damn intensive work.
