I feel like the only reason i got banned is because the other players didnt like what i had to say. Keep in mind that i was jungler and my support stole my blue buff lvl 1.(so was kind of tilting) I dont want to lose this account because i have my favorite skins on it . I beleive i am going to stop typing in game cuz if this stuff is bannable then its sad. I also feel like 1 of the best parts of competitive anything is the banter u can have between teams. Its just sad that calling some 1 dumb is all it takes to make a person report u in this pc world.

P.S. the azir was flaming every 1 only reason y i singled him out.

PLZ give me some feed back or advice Should i just not type ? Should i just not type as much? What do u think?

Just don't sound as negative, there are no timestamps in your logs but I'm pretty sure this

part was early in the game and you gave up.

There's no reason to be negative, it's only lowering your winrate. Instead of pointing out Azir's mistakes, either point them as "you should do X instead" rather than "you're bad at X", or don't point them out at all ; unless you're D3+, which you aren't, it's highly unlikely you'll meet him again in a future game.

Should i just not type ?

I've been watching some high elo streams lately and I found that they very rarely type ; I'm not saying stop typing and you'll gain elo, but there's just no point to type because either it doesn't help your team or it can be pinged. A "gj" once in a while is appreciated, like you did here

so keep on pointing out these. It's good for the team's moral.

Amazing response thank you i wish i could just mute my self :(. The only thing i hate about the system they have in place is that i feel the only times i get reported is when we lose and i feel like the worst things i will say is that was dumb or stupid and i guess that just triggers ppl . I think i just have thicker skin than most . thank u 4 ur ideas.

Google around you can make a really easy script that cancels Enter when you press it. Somebody asked riot a couple months back on the boards and its ok to use a script like that. Or just /mute all when the game starts.

The question "do i deserve it ?" is not a productive direction for this conversation to go for you. Nor is talking about how I don't believe your account should be permanently banned from what I see here going to be useful.

The useful thing is to say there is a system that has four steps:

Punishments generally follow a basic escalation path: First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction Third Offense: Two Week Suspension Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

and that abusing the chat function to argue with people is a violation of the terms of use that allow you to use this software. And you evidently argue with people A LOT. Unless there's some particularly interesting chat you are keeping to yourself, you have argued and fought with other customers so often to such an extent that you got yourself a formal warning with a chat restriction to ask you to stop. But you persisted and got another one, and then persisted and now we are here.

What's the point of saying this? That just like someone who has history of arguing with other customers at a grocery store and has now been asked to leave, if you come back and do it again, you will be banned.

I don't think anyone wants that, so my advice to you is to never use the chat function again outside of sincere "GJ"s and "GG"s.

not disagreeing with u at all. But dont u think calling some 1 dumb or stupid shouldnt merit these types of restictions / banns. Just because it hurt someones feelings ? If lol wants to be considered a competative sport there has to be some banter, what do u think football players r saying to each other on the feild . And i have never told any1 to kys or worse things tht i have seen ppl type. and most of the times that i got restricted is because i typed alot trying to help them learn but then once they r like 0/8 i do resort to ur dumb/ stupid does that make me weak person ? i just feel i should stop typing which i find to be a fun part of the game jokeing around with ppl , but the second i do something they dont like or they get tilted i get reported.

Maybe it shouldn't. And it doesn't. Riot doesn't restrict or ban just for saying that and I personally know that. It's not the words, it's about habitual disruption. Businesses care about conducting themselves and care when people are disrupting operation of the business and disrupting their customers. Not that someone said the word "dumb", but if someone is disruptive by arguing with their customers, and if it is shown to be habitual, they will be banned from the premises.

I am aware that people engage in friendly, competitive banter. I'm sure there are football players that insult each other, and that it is defended as just being "banter" when censured for it.

I'm also sure that competitive sports organizations fine and suspend players when the players do engage in that. There is no shortage of examples of that. Like above, sports organization care about conducting the sport, and they do not care about facilitating players stroking their egos with juvenile, verbal dick measuring contests. It's not a secret that players get penalized for disruption, insults, taunting and other things of the sort. You bring up competitive sports, but Riot is more lenient on you than they would be. You can do things in League, you can type "f--k" in League and have no penalty and not get fined thousands or tens of thousands of dollars and/or get immediately suspended for it, but I cannot say the same for the reverse.

That is not helping players learn. That behaviour, pressing tab and searching for some combination of things that are "wrong" and acting as if they are so above the game, is what people do when they want to find excuses to disqualify events of the game from reflecting on them and just sit around complimenting themselves to feel superior instead of playing the game, to feel better instead of putting in work to be better.

There's not much to say without being redundant criticism. You cannot pretend to be surprised that if you are having fun, havin giggle just "jokin around" at other people's expense and disrupting thing, that everyone but you are going to think differently of it. That's not a reasonable conclusion from looking at this from an outsider perspective.

i was abit negative because the support stole my lvl 1 buff then i was getting invaded from there jungler and there mid.(i never got help just got flamed 4 dieing) I was a rengar and wen he is behind he is useless, and i only flamed the azir alittle bit cuz he was flaming. I just dont understand how ppl can type in horrible things like kys , fuk u, and various personal threats . But when i type things like this the only reason i get reported is cuz we lose .

I’m somewhat similar to you or at least was. Do I think this deserves a 14 day? No. But you are definitely annoying. I get how not getting lvl 2 off blue really sets you behind. You very obviously need to at the very least talk less if not at all. I would advise duo queuing with someone using voice chat. That will help reduce typing.

I was in your shoes as I said. I knew I needed to stop because I have invested $100s if not a $1000 or so into this account. If it gets banned I’m gone for good.

Typing too much in chat can be legitimately reported. It's seen as obstructive to the game.

Just talk less. This guy is just trying to give you legitimate advice.

Exactly. Try to give him advise...even say I get how and why he was frustrated but he responds in that fashion. He's not looking for advice...he clearly hasn't learned. I'm sure we will see in 15 days ;) another thread by him saying he was wrongfully permed.

I report players based on what they said and did during the game, not whether we win or lose the game. There have been times where I reported one or two players on a winning team and there are times where I wish I could honor everyone on a losing team. It shouldn't be about win or lose but how you play the game.

will this sentence, in general, lift the overall attitude of the players in the game, or bring it down? if the answer is yes, it will lift it, press enter. otherwise, press Esc
