20 minute afk ban yet got no warning in the game and didnt afk

I was just in a game where our ori was afk until 10 minutes so the whole team agreed to let the team win and we all ran around. I was constantly moving around the fountain and our base along with our team and I got an afk ban for 20 minutes. It's just ridiculous that you would even suspend someone for 20 minutes in the first place as well as not letting them leave the que or chat, look at store, adjust masteries etc. If anyone could help that'd be great.

Moving around doesn't stop you from being flagged as afk. "AFK" doesn't necessarily mean you aren't at your keyboard, but that you aren't participating, which running around in the fountain is. If you do not participate in the match as normal then you are going to get flagged as a leaver.

There was one match I played in which two people went afk and we still won 3v5. I think it's important to still play the match and if it goes sour, vote to surrender and report as necessary afterwards. It sucks, but it's better than the alternatives. I recommend you just take the hit and play differently in the future. In ranked, I can understand your concern and at that point just play defensively. In normals, it's not so high stakes that it's worth throwing the game over small setbacks.
