Why can't we get collateral lp if a player on our team is found guilty of inting

I recently had a game with a real humdinger of a singed that took smite, and constantly ran it down into turrets giving the enemy kills and smiting our jungler's buffs *forcing our jg to smite his camps, thus we lost all large objective potential) and was generally just a troll the entire game. Everyone knew he was a troll and even some refused to try and get shutdowns for an early part of the game, but after I got fed they realized that they had an easy way out for a win. That's cool and all as I get their mental and all but I feel like I was robbed of my time and my lp even though I did so well.

This is kind of just a heated tangent but could riot implement a way that if an ally is found guilty for the reportable offense of inting, like real printing as the singed was can the ally teammates get their lp refunded, or at least some lp as some form of collateral. It seems really unfair to those who still try to play the game just in hopes of ruining the trolls schemes of ruining the game for everyone else. Wouldn't something like this at least deter some of the trolls? Knowing their time even if they are successful in ruining their teammate's game, they really will make no impact if they lose.

The fact that intentional feeding is a widespread thing is a testament of the stystem being somewhat broken, thoughts?

Are you willing to not gain any LP if someone on the enemy team is found guilty of "inting?"

Oh, and when would that LP be deducted? When the punishment goes through a day or so later? Congrats, now you've been demoted because you didn't deserve the LP you won.

This is not a one-way street that you're proposing.

Just because you make a statement does not make the statement true. Does inting exist? Yes. Is it as widespread as people think it is? No. Because any death, decision, or mistake that someone latches onto as the cause of a loss (as you are) is labeled, more often incorrectly than correctly, as inting.

because even if someone ints, if you deserve to climb, you should win the next game, or the one after that. Someone inting wont determine the game, it would also ruin the ranked system.

Only if you don't win any LP if someone on the other team is found guilty of inting.

I had someone int and troll a game recently, he started to run it down mid, died 8 times, went afk, and then we started winning the game. I told him if he could give any damage at all during a team fight it would be super appreciated, he still didnt help. We then went on to win a few more team fights, and finally for 2 fights he joined us and we won the game. So even if you have trolls, int'ers, people running it down, it wont matter.

every death should count has feeding intentional or not since it will have the same end result in that regard.

I very very rarely ever see inters. I dont think its widespread. That would suggest it happens to most players quite consistently. But anyway, i dont like that idea, because then everytime the enemy has been confirmed to have a troll, I suddenly lose LP after the fact, maybe days later. Fuck that. Ill just take the loss and carry on. Meh. Team game with random strangers, I kinda expect to lose due to stupid shit anyway sometimes.
