People can report you out of anger, and if you rack up enough reports due to people disagreeing with your playstyle, you WILL be banned. I was reported for asking for ganks, and when I was banned I didn't even have a chat log from that game. It was from previous games. nothing horrible was said in these games either, and noone was cussed at. It was simply sarcasm and passive aggressiveness.

Zombiemaster2 votesOkay, so there's a little bit of negativity arguing with the Hecarim. You didn't need to get in to the small argument with the Hecarim near the end of the chat log. Alone, I wouldn't say it's worthy of a punishment, however, this is not the only game that contributed to your punishment.
In order to have a better understanding of why you were punished, I'd need to see all the chat logs you received, not just one game.

These are just a few of the comments that are really unnecessary and just serve to make the situation worse. Instead of saying in all caps "STOP PINGING ME AND HELP ME," you could try and say "could you please stop pinging me." Also, calling another player a troll is never going to help. If they are a troll, calling them one won't make them stop because they realize they are making you angry. If they aren't a troll, accusing them of being one is simply going to make them angry and possibly retaliate back by either arguing back at you or possibly by actually trolling. Either way, calling someone a troll will not help.
Now, you still haven't provided all of the games you received, though you do admit to being a dick in the second game. So, in game 1 there's slight arguing, game 2 you admit to being a dick, and game 3 there's a decent amount of negativity. Overall, each game may not be worthy of a punishment on their own, but add it all together and you get someone who is showing negative behavior across multiple games, which generally does lead to a punishment.

EXE FallenKnight2 votesIf anything is busted with the system its that NOT ENOUGH people get punished, and there are too many alt account users that make it a less than efficient system. The people who do get banned or suspended obviously did something to deserve it. I mean the guy/gal who plays support singed with smite has gotten hundreds-thousands of reports and Riot investigated and decided it wasnt worth a ban so it is much more than just a simple get more reports=instaban numbers game like you were implying it is.

Plus passive aggressiveness can be just as toxic and harmful as regular run of the mill aggressiveness and raging with just that chat log I can say I most likely would have reported you as well. In the future you should focus more on what you need to do, not spend so much time in the chat passively raging at hecarim.
