Perma banned after 2-3 months without a suspension

I was playing a couple games here and there and was jokingly mocking our jungler, he got pretty upset and called me some names, but I apologized after the game. While in trying to get another game set up, I was permanently banned, after months without any sort of suspension. What is this? I actually reformed and I get rekt by the Tribunal. ???
