PBE dodgers

The dodge system needs attention for the PBE. Whenever a big patch or one that has a new champion is released the que times go on for hours. The primary reason is dodgers (The secondary would be the ones who afk during loading to get the match cancelled). They will log in with the idea of playing the new champion only. This causes problems. The PBE is for testing out the new patches for Riot to make changes before they go live. This becomes increasingly difficult to do. There are many things that need to be tested!

My suggestion would be to increase the time punishment for dodges. Now I don't run any game companies or have the stats but something needs to happen. Please leave your ideas or simply upvote to support a change if find this to be an issue as well.

You hit the nail on the head right there. The point of the PBE is for Riot to collect as much data as possible including stats, bugs, and anything else you can think of. Being overly strict about things like leaving games in what is essentially a test environment reduces the usefulness of the test environment.

Remember the disastrous patch where everyone got the black screen of death, some champs had infinite stuns and people just couldn't log on? PBE is buggy as hell, and meant to find these bugs. Wouldn't make sense to punish players for programming glitches/bugs.
