I was banned for cheating when I never did anything.

Today after playing a normal game with my friends, I was banned... permanently. The reason was using third party applications?!?! I have never ever cheated on league. I mean why would I, I have played for two years, spent well over 300$, and made so many friends. Plus what is the fun in cheating like that? The game is fun because of my strive to improve, not because I like destroying people with cheats. I am posting this in request for help. Someone either false accused me of this, or..... I don't even have another explanation. I am extremely scared because of all the time I have spent on this game and dedicated so much. I have submitted many tips of advise/future content and tried to help the community. Now to me that's not the behavior of a hacker or cheater. Now RIOT, I know you are busy but come on, I am a loyal player and love this game. I play it every single day. Help me to fix this issue and I can prove I never cheated. In the link above you will see a list dedicated to improving and climbing the elo ladder. Now to me, a cheater/hacker would simply not need to improve at all. Plus look through all my games and watch them all back, I do not and will not cheat in league of legends.

So basically, my point of all this is too get it out to a rioter or someone of the company. I want to show them that I am a nice guy and very loyal to their game. This game, League of Legends, has become my escape. My go-to when I am sad, or happy, or even just want a few laughs with my friends. I am not here to hack or cheat their game. I treat it with the respect it deserves. I never give hate speech's or yell at my team. I may kid around with people here and there but that is for a good laugh with the person or I do a nice outplay. Basically, I am here to prove I did not cheat or anything like that on my account. And neither did the one friend. It was most likely the mix up with the skin modifier. So please help me get back on my account and in my happy place! Thank you :)

Hey there.

I know losing your account can be pretty scary, especially when you have invested a large amount of time on it. I personally had my account hacked but fortunately recovered it after 3 days without a response from a human.

In those 3 days I barely slept, I panicked, I constantly checked my email for an update. I drove myself crazy. The best thing you can do right now is file a ticket if you haven't already, then do something to take your mind off of it.

Check your email for responses periodically but not obsessively. Riot will get back to you when they can. There are hundreds of thousands of people sending in tickets in NA alone.

If you truly did nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about. Riot isn't in the business of banning people for no reason. This was likely a computer error.

Distract yourself and be patient.

IT happened to me to on EU west, i submitted 2 tickets and asked for all kinds of proof and they literally just said the ban is final, we are c**nts, and there is nothing you can do about it. You wont get your account back, and you wont play league again. Probably the most ignorant and obnoxious company i've ever had to deal with, I think there are scam artists with more respect than what i was shown. Ive played for 5 years and never once modified the game installation or used a 3rd party tool to interact with the league client in any way. How can you justify doing this?

Its put me off online gaming for life and i've been playing games since I was 11.

3rd party includes bots used to level accounts to level 30 and then they sell them. If you didn't level this account up yourself, and you acquired by any other means, you can't say that someone on this account didn't cheat.

Man did you get any way out off that the same thing happed to me been playing for 6years and now I have used a 3de party app I mean I play on a low elo if I used a cheat why would my elo be so low

I mean really RIOT we have been emailing now for about 3 months and they cant give me any proof or listen to me in any way they just keep on saying they cant and ban is final but they don't address my question

Please let me know if you got some advise

in a way i hated leaver buster back in s5 . like i ws Dc for like a min or 2 and all of a sudden i got 5 priority games with a 15 min wait.. im like really -_- i was there for most of the game. sometimes i had last min DCs and i still got it which kinda pissed me off. i even got a day ban randomly for it and that was again being DC early on 1-5 min. but asside from the point yep :x.. i hated leaver buster since i can have 10 + games in a row fully connected but 1 game i had a random DC i get it .

but i hope you get your account back.

This also happened to me 12 hours ago. I dont know why this happen. And it scare the hell out of me :(. Was playing for 5 games straight and then out of nowhere " your account was banned". Wtf. I really hope that riot will have a look at this error.

Same thing happened to me. Only I didn't even play the game for like 3 days. Then I got on and I was permabanned. The mods on their support website will only tell you to fuck off. literally. It's horrible customer service.
