Riot is going over board on bans this is insane

So I am not new to League of Legends my main is a season 1 account. I have never had a ban on any of my accounts till season six, and now it's like ban city on my accounts and I am confused a bit what the big change with riot is. Now I don't troll people, don't intent feed don't cuss at players don't argue with players. Most games I don't even type in chat cause it's so easy to get ban now days. I don't think players should be salty or call players bad I mean come on guys every one has bad games I understand that.

However I am getting chat bans for responding to the enemy teams questions like what the heck. The enemy team asks what is going on and why my team mates are flaming in chat and I explain to the enemy team that one of the team mates is trolling me or cussing me out and I have muted them or that they intent ban my champion and the next thing I know I'm getting a ban for this. i am not asking for reports because I am aware report farming is against the rules the worst thing I have said to my team or to the other team is well let this game be a lesson not to ban other peoples champs or cuss at them. That got me ban..... Now I believe that most bans are accurate and deserved I called someone bronze once got a chat ban and i deserved that I know it but the rest of it like what the heck this is over strict.
