I don't think a warning should be necessary for you to know that calling people retards might get you in trouble.

I also believe this to be the perfect prophetic justice based on how much you were boasting that you would get the soraka banned and that you would "send to forum".

The word "retard" seems to be rising on the community's radar, which possibly means it is getting escalated punishments for repeated use. I'll admit this is the first time I've seen that jump to an immediate 14-day ban, but that combined with calling someone "trash" and "cancer" will reliably earn punishments.

It is on the rise, both in use and in punishments. Somewhere in the history of threads here, there are a few that have been banned/suspended for this, and at least one that was straight to 14 day with no priors (according to that OP).

you should always give a warning before banning been playing since early 2010 and this toxic auto ban environment is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not a toxic person, thats what they have a mute button for.

A 14-day ban is a warning -- just an usually heavy one. Riot used to do only chat bans as warnings, and I suspect their current model is based on evidence showing that the majority of behaviors that trigger zero-tolerance offenses are not seen in cases where a player reforms.

Yea i forget that you guys probably all work in California where the politically correct culture runs so hard core that you are brainwashed into anything being harassment. 14 day bans shouldn't be a thing. People spend money on this game unless you are going to refund them the money they spent you shouldn't ban them. Not to say they shouldn't be punished, but a chat restriction on people is more than enough.
