I'm familiar with the whole "just mute them" movement, but sometimes your ego just doesnt want you to accept trashtalk.

so here is what happened: i play top, minding my own business. playing darius vs teemo, a frustrating matchup. at some point i end up dying and all im hearing in chat is "u suuuck" form vi. throughout the game things get far worse with what vi is saying.

during that game i didnt feel like accepting that trashtalk and responded to it. of course i reported her afterwards and this is what happened today:

10 Game Chat restriction and Honor locked. And it literally only gave me that one game on the logs screen.

Seems pretty simple to me... you flame, you get punished. Since you chose to respond, you chose to accept the punishment.
