Permabanned

So, I am not the person who was permabanned but I am pretty upset. I understand the policy on saying slurs but I have seen and reported people MUCH worse than this other player and they just got permabanned while other players go around, telling people to kill themselves, among other things, and never get in trouble, AT ALL. I have reported almost every single person I have ever seen do stuff like that, and they never get in trouble. Maybe one in every 30 people I report for that type of behavior (using racial slurs, telling people to kill themselves/uninstall the game). I watched this Eve flame the whole game without ever cussing, someone else uses ONE bad word after being flamed half of the game, gets permabanned. I hardly see how there's justice in that. And for the people in the back, we all know you've all been toxic at least once or twice, if not more (not that it really matters I suppose, but I'm js is all). Even sometimes I say some stupid crap in chat that might be punishable. I say this almost every single time I report people, but I will say it again. Get rid of the REAL toxic people. Throw those stupid AI's out and get real people reading the context of chat's instead of some AI picking and choosing words. This is apart why you still have so many toxic people playing this game constantly.

I gave up. It is their game.

I screwed up when I decided to act the way I acted. It doesn't matter if someone else is cursing, raging, flaming, feeding, whatever.

I got caught. I wouldn't have gotten caught if I had behaved. Never mind the reason I misbehaved. I was warned. I read the EULA, the ToU. I knew.

I KNEW. And everyone else in this game has the same knowledge and information available to them as it was to me, it is literally right inside the game client.

So I don't care. If you are on the negative side of the fence, you are accepting that likelihood of getting banned because if you are breaking the rules you get punished just like in real life.

And don't go throwing me that "In real life, XYZ" rebutle because just as the Law is governed by its parties and all who engage in various activities of life (business, medical, scientific, domestic, or otherwise) agree to the Laws that govern their practices. If you have a problem with the punishments for violating the Law, then you do not ever catch that punishment by FOLLOWING the Laws.

Yes, I am angry. No, I don't care if others get permabanned.

Just follow the rules from here out like I do and like so many others do and you'll stay out of trouble.

But break the laws of League of Legends outlined by the Terms of Use agreement that has been indoctrinated by real life lawyers (Summoner's Code is apart of a legally binding contract that only accepting and agreeing to authorizes you to use League) will catch you a punishment...

JUST LIKE BREAKING ANY OTHER LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT.

/rant

League is part of the Real World. It may be a virtual computer game, but its apart of real life. Even Police can't accurately Police everyone because they are not omnipotent or omnipresent. But that they do what they can within their power to do so...

It's the same thing here.

There is never any "context" or "justification" for responding to, reacting to any Intentional negative chat , action or play .

Also there is never any "context" or Justification to negativity commenting on something you simply don't like or what you consider "bad play" of any kind.

If you do respond to something you don't like in game legitimate or something you simply don't like

You deserve punishment . It really is that simple absolutely no "grey " areas

In others words if you cant say anything non-sarcastically positive don't say anything at all.

You also have to go throw multiple punishment stages ...unless Riot think you are REALLY bad and decides you need to skip some

{quoted}

Riot treats everyone the same. Everyone is given the same escalation pathway of punishments:

  1. 10 game chat restriction
  2. 25 game chat restriction
  3. 14 day ban
  4. Permanent ban

ONE bad word after being flamed half of the game, gets permabanned.

that is not only an exaggeration but incorrect again unless Riot deems it was incredibly bad

To give you some "context " ..on how you are supposed to act her is what you are supposed to do

If you receive or see a verbally abusive comment or even an action or something just you don't like

1 Don't respond ( this includes any type of report x comment . muting x or anything of that nature)

2 Mute them or ignore them ( which ever is applicable )

3 Report on end game screen ( if it was a legitimate offence and not just what you considered "bad play")

This also goes for if you see someone intentionally feeding , afk as well

And how many people do you believe Riot could hire that would read every single reported game of every single match being played daily?

have seen and reported people MUCH worse than this other player and they just got permabanned while other players go around, telling people to kill themselves, among other things, and never get in trouble, AT ALL.

Are you checking their match histories, or are you basing this on not getting the "we handled it" popup? You only get that message if you were the last reporter that led to a punishment.

I am gonna double post. I don't care.

If you are reporting someone with the expectation of getting them permanently banned, you are toxic.

You should not WANT people to get banned unless they are deserving.

If those people who report and WANT to see people banned always got their way, this game would be suffering, and it is not.

I will say it again, if you report people with the sole intention of seeing them eliminated from the game without so much as giving a thought to their reform...

On the inside, You are toxic.
