Punishing Trolls and AFKers

I don't know if anyone's had this idea before or not but I think Riot should consider deducting LP from trolls and AFK players only. Why should 4 other players get punished just because one person on the team lost their shit. LeaverBuster can catch players that go AFK. So why can't Riot implement a system where people who go AFK or feed lose LP whereas the other 4 don't lose any of it. This can improve the overall experience for players and stop a number of players from rage quitting and costing their team matches.

And each time it has been explained to the person suggesting such a solution that this ultimately means a match unfortunate enough to have an AFK or a troll, would immediately become a open season. It would no longer matter if you even try to win because a loss means nothing.

Or figure a way to make your idea stronger? Its not that the idea itself is bad, just every time it's mentioned it never has a strong enough grasp on reality to be practical
