I think I was banned unintentionally. Could I get some help?

Hi, I'm here today because I was banned recently for 14 days. I'm not sure what I did to receive the ban but according to the email it said I was either MMR boosting or I got MMR boosted. I have put in a ticket 4-5 days ago and have yet to receive a response to this ticket. (it was originally for my ranked rewards but it was escalated to a behavior team which has yet to respond to message) Now I have never been banned nor had a warning about a ban in the past. I am usually not toxic and have tried to play on my best behavior.

I'm unsure as to how they detect a booster but if its an automated system that detects it, than I would completely understand how this could happen since mistakes happen. I can't really see how they would have detected me though, I was in Oklahoma City not too long ago, and I was playing some league there for about 2-3 weeks but other than that I generally only play from home, but would that trigger it?. I change my password regularly so it can't be a hack or anything, and the only person who logs on my account is my little sister who might play a norm here and there sometimes when she wants to try a hero she doesn't own however she never plays ranked on my account. (She has her own account who isn't 30 so she probably doesn't know about ranked)

I'm currently at a loss on what to do, Riot hasn't responded and I'm just eager to play the game we all love.

Tons of people(including myself) play from all kinds of different locations. I'm sure location information is a factor but there is no way it is the only thing considered otherwise people would be getting banned left and right.

They never give much information about these types of bans to prevent people from using the information to circumvent bans in the future. So we don't really get answers in most of these cases. The ones that do get to some kind of answers(usually community discovered) come down to account sharing. Which you mentioned.

Account sharing in and of itself is a perma bannable offense. You claim she wouldn't, but if she played even 1 ranked game it is considered mmr boosting. Actually I just noticed the description of boosting doesn't actually specifically mention ranked only MMR(which normals have as well). I'm not sure if that was changed or if its just ambiguous wording because I have always understood it to be ranked only.

In any case. Change your password. Stop giving it to your sister(or anyone). Even if you didn't boost, your actually offense has a worse punishment than the one you got hit with. Unless the 2 of are exactly the same skill level(which is unlikely since you are diamond and she isn't even level 30) you are completely ruining games for people by letting her play your account. When she plays her team has someone who isn't good. Then she lowers your MMR and when you play you win more because you are playing with people worse than you.

When she plays on my account she plays with bots because shes trying out new heroes, which I would understand her ruining games if she was playing normals versus others. However she lives in my house and hardly plays on my account, so I don't really see that being the case here.

Don't let some play ranked games on your account and you won't get punished for boosting.

It is important to note that these bans happen in waves. Sometimes it takes months to detect boosting (Riot are working on improving their detection systems at all times) and in these cases the booster is still punished.

Consider carefully early-mid October. It is possible you suddenly decided to play almost only ADCs and that you had a 16 game win streak at that time, but is unlikely.

Your MMR chart looks quite suspicious. No activity for a long time then from gold straight to diamond and then no activity after that...
