MMR Boosting

So I was looking at prior chats and threads to understand why I was suspended for MMR Boosting. Honestly, I haven't been boosted in anyway but my friends have played normal on my account because I am very anal about ranked and the communities standards. I am initially from the Virgin Islands and after being hit by a hurricane; I have bounced around from NJ >FL and NC. I now reside in NC. I did have a password change because I couldn't log in to my account one day and my paypal was being accessed from Beijing so I changed my passwords on the things that I had important information on.

If I did something wrong then I'd like the insight and I will take the consequences of my ban and if not then feel free to use your better judgement. Thanks again for reading and I look forward to your response.

There have been a ton of people getting banned for it recently. I got banned today because to what i beleive i kept switching places to play like my dorm and home. Best thing to do is send riot a ticket but not much has been done for anyone.

Yeah, Riot isn't gonna listen to anyone even if they are truly innocent. Riot just believes everything they do is Riot and that is the law of Riot. So once it's done, it's done.

No, when a player contacts support to inquire about a van, they recheck the data and confirm that it was not placed in error. They do and will remove bans that are in error.

SugataYoLoShindo2 votes

No they really don't. They give us a generic message and just stick to saying "you were justly banned bye now"

Chermorg2 votes

They do review it. The problem is 99.99% of the times the bans were correctly placed, and so they don’t remove it.

They give the same message to virtually everyone because virtually everyone was banned properly.

But it's an automated system, so no, there is no way there everyone is virtually banned properly. Since you believe this, you have some serious issues, the system is Highly flawed. I've looked through a lot of these and there are people that are clearly banned that were correct and others that are definitely an error but Riot refuses to change its stance.

Riot has access to data that is biometric in nature - i.e. where you click, how you click, how you type/hit buttons, etc. This data is as accurate as (if not more so) a fingerprint or facial recognition - which is what many people use today to unlock their phones. Riot is able to conclusively identify if a different person is playing a match on an account in 99%+ of cases - those where it’s inconclusive they do not ban, and if a ban is accidentally placed in error they unban.

Just suck up to them more like you do.

Those things don't work for a video game and their system is wrong.

("I am initially from the Virgin Islands and after being hit by a hurricane; I have bounced around from NJ >FL and NC").

Explain Htf you move around given the recent hurricanes were in around Louisianan/Lower Texas State.

Typical impossible for adults to constantly do this, but a whole family with relatives is a different story. Yet the housing market in the US is in similar state as in Canada.[slayer-jinx-unamused]

Hurricane Irma and Maria hit the Virgin Islands. Like, the Virgin Islands were over shadowed by a lot of the other countries, but it was still devastating. You don't recover from a Hurricane just over night. I would know. I live in the Cayman Islands, we were Hit By Hurricane Ivan back in 2004 (4 years later after that we were still recovering) Hurricane Paloma hit Cayman Brac back in 2008 and shit, up to 2013 we were still trying to recover.
Lol so don't ask questions, adults have to make sacrifices and so do children. That means taking out loans, going in debt, shit even selling ass if need be. So I can see what he means by he has to move around, I had to bounce too. Islands were pretty much uninhabitable.

In conclusion with moving around causes getting new jobs and other responsibilities. You guys don't have that kind of money floating around. If you can manage to play lol, than you might have a terrible connection or not. Whether or not relocation is true there is too many factors which I know from experience. It's hard accepting this as the truth if you are single adult living on your own. With a family you have more leeway for lying.

I'm no god, I just know the outside world even if I'm living in Canada.

Well, unlike most Canadians, and American's. Caribbean people are pretty dang decent in saving as well. Putting money away in case of emergencies etc etc. My Ping here in my country which is pretty far compared to his. it's 98, I have a house, a car all on my own. I am a single female so what not? I've traveled, been to Canada twice, going in May for Anime North. Everything doesn't always work out, or there isn't always something bad happening. I think most people who are taken for a fool/under-appreciated usually do take a good look at the outside world. MANYYYYY people, don't know where the Cayman Islands are. I have been playing League since BETA, and still lots of friends dont know where I live. At the end of the day, if you're banned for account sharing then it's justified, but moving.. even if showing proof, you shoudln't be banned for.

I'm just as surprise as how those islands like that can get access to the internet. Why own a car there in the first place? You do know the cartel has the most money surrounding each Caribbean island. Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico If you do own a house down there, you must have connections within the cartel. Besides that those islands have poverty issues and hurricanes do not help their cause.

If you can get internet in Antarctica how can you even think that way? Like on the reals.... lol! Would you WALK 12 miles everyday to work? Same reason you have a car, to get around hello? As for the Cartel, trust me, they aren't the one's who own the most money surrounding any islands. Now I straight up know you're trolling me. 27 and owning a house automatically says I am within the cartel? Well I'll take it, at least I don't have to worry about anything. #Protected But man islands do have Poverty issues, but which country doesn't have that though?

Well since i don't know the housing market down there it was just safe to say. In Canada and the United States the house market is just terrible. "You are basically living with your parents until you have a career to hold on too" This is the era where the majority of adults are stuck in.. I'm in fact leeching of the Canadian government as well getting 2000$ each month from my part time work(includes benefits). 500$ extra i will take that any day, who wouldn't?. I'm 28 and I have to rent out my own place, so owning a house is unrealistic even with the unknown house market down there. I'm in Canada, so the best option is living with your GF, as you both save up for a house or government housing. That's life I'm not ashamed of living my way, I'm only missing a girlfriend, so to speak, but that takes time. [sg-ahri-2]

I am a high elo top/mid/jungle player and a pretty decent youtuber making a video on how my account got banned for being Elo boosted, if anyone wants to share there case with me I can include it in my vod, Riot has been 100% confident that I got boosted to D5, as a high elo player who often duo queues with professional league players I find it hard to believe that there system is perfect and they that look at each individual account, please let me know if you want to be included in my next vod
