Lobby Trolling; What Can I do?
(Also includes a tiny rant of disappointment and frustration).
Hi. I'm currently a Plat player (was Diamond last season) and I've finally become desperate enough to post on the forums about how unbearably toxic people are and how helpless I feel with combating it. Just about every single game, and I'm not even exaggerating, I've had someone on MY team (not even counting the enemy team) that has the /worst/ of attitudes and is completely ruining the game for me. It's to the point that I can't even mute them- they just spam ping, afk, intent feed, or follow you around in an attempt to steal your jungle/farm/disrupt your playing. Too many people feel comfortable and safe acting this way and they're basically allowed to get away with it. I'm at a loss for words. I can go back my last 20 games and point out who was causing issues, flaming, and making the game a nightmare to play - but that's not the point of this thread...
The point that I want to focus on is dealing with people in champ select. I just had three games in a row where people have shown their true colors during champ select and I ended up dodging the first two (and being penalized for doing so) and having to stick it out during the third. The worst part is that I can't even report these players... and they're free to continue terrorizing others.
One game: During the champ select, someone pick intented Jhin, another person immediately started huffing and puffing over how terrible Jhin is and ended up banning them as their ban. The Jhin player started to rage and locked in a champion that isn't ideal for the role they had - same thing with the player who banned Jhin. So we ended up with two champions in roles that they aren't very capable of doing well in and two players who were non-stop slinging insults and arguing.

Starts out beautifully. I asked if we can trade picks (worded it a little off, as I don't typically trade) and he declines. Fine. That's perfectly fine.
I respond to the person asking me if I want to switch lanes, and then the person I asked to trade with explodes. Worst of all, the person saying "report this guy, not friendly" is directed at me. I can't tell if people are duo'd but I'm pretty sure there was a trio there - since they all said to report me (and spoilers: two of the three harassed me and another (the other) player during the game and in the end-game lobby).
At least one person stood up for me. :c
Part of the end game lobby... same two who harassed me and the bard the whole game. I know I didn't play well, but honestly, I don't play well when I'm constantly getting verbally attacked - even after muting. So basically they extend the whole thing to end game, with the passive aggressive talk "oh you did great", etcetcetc. I should've taken pictures of the whole end-game lobby. :/
I've had other games recently too that have been horrible, with constant harassment, and it feels like it's gotten way worse this season. I've never been harassed for picking a certain champion before and it's happened numerous times with some of the supports I've picked (i.e Sona, Janna, Naut, and Lulu -- "Naut and Lulu are better as laners, they're bad supports", "Sona is the worst support, useless", "Janna is shitty, doesn't do anything" - I know their assessments aren't the best, but I'm just using these to further point things out). Please make the harassment stop, somehow. I'm tired of thinking "which team will rage the most" because that's what it comes down to as of late. If my team rages, we lose. If the other team rages, they lose. If we both rage, it's whoever types the most and stops playing. I'm just fed up. I'm fed up of all the harassment and horrible attitudes. Every game someone gets harassed (and not always me).
What do I do for lobby trolls? I feel like I'm at their mercy and that I'm the one who is penalized for not embracing being a horrible person in a video game.
