Where I say "you're a fucking retard" in quotes, I'm responding to the Yasuo in-game who asked why I'm reporting him. He said those words pre-game so when he asked why I'm reporting I merely quoted what he said to tell him what I was reporting for, I was in no way calling him or anyone such a thing.

From my perspective, there's nothing wrong at all with this chat, so please let me know if you find anything different.

Don't claim that you're going to report someone, or ask others to report. The report does not require either to function, saying it in chat is just an attempt to upset/alienate the other player.

This is by far probably the least toxic chat log I've seen on the boards and would actually submit a ticket to Riot. Then, learn to mute. And remove all non-essential keys from your keyboard.

I love how this boards is more intrested in finding everything you did wrong than trying to ban a guy that made hate speech comments and made fun of mental disabilities ... Remember people here are trying to make their chat experience some kind of utopia where you cant tell smn he is bad , where you cant call smn for their actions. You shouldnt bother reading their comments League Community is so sensitive towards "negativity " yet they forgot a main purpose of this system. They care more about banning people for this type of shit like calling for reports , than actuall hate speech or purposely ruining smns game by inting.

I highly recommend you to /mute all in game , most people you meet will not be friendly or smart so you shouldnt bother :)

All jokes aside. Yes some of your text is an bannable offense and are toxic. Telling the other players to die, telling others to report him several times, and belittling him because of his rank - which im pretty sure youre around the same rank as him so I dont know what point youre trying to make ? A mentality to say things like that is the reason you are where you are now.

10 game chat restrictions is like Strike 1 for most people, considered as a "warning"

This is due to minor offenses:

  1. harassment of a teammate
  2. negative behaviors
  3. Ingame use of inappropriate words (no excuses)
  4. inciting a report/threatening a report (unsportsmanlike) - do it anonymously

remember this is strike 1, after the chat restriction is lifted, any future punishment will be considered strike 2 = suspension or straight to strike 3 = permanent ban aka account deletion.

Be careful what you type, cause Riots Automated system reads your words and doesn't need context of why they were typed.

TLDR basically in game chat is not for idle chatter or banter, it's not a chat room. watch what you say next time

Alrighty, this is what stands out to me, from reading through your logs:

I can see where this line would have gotten picked up by the automated system, but in the context, it does appear like it's referring to the position of the champion in the game, and not the player personally. It doesn't appear to be toxic to me.

This paragraph is relatively mild, but you're walking the line when it comes to calling for reports. While it's fine to encourage teammates like the Annie, by telling them to not worry about toxic players, and to just mute and move on, when you start mentioning it in all chat, asking for other people to do so, and talking about him being banned, you've gone past what is acceptable. You've gone into harassment territory, and where Riot no longer finds it acceptable. There is no need to ever ask for reports against another player. It only takes ONE REPORT to flag a game for review by the Instant Feedback System. Yours. You don't need anyone else in the game to report them with you.

Mkay, even without you explaining the context of this, it seemed pretty clear that it wasn't something you were saying just to be toxic. However, a chatbot like the IFS may not necessarily look for context. You may want to consider submitting a ticket to Player Support, but as a rule, they do not overturn bans issued by the IFS. I am not certain if that extends to chat restrictions. And given that this is only a ten game chat restriction, it's extremely minor, and you should be able to work that off in no time.

As the others have said, it is considered harassment to call for reports, or to mention repeatedly that you will be reporting someone in chat. But that is honestly the only thing that I see in chat where you actually broke the rules. And it was so minor, that had I been playing in the game, I would not have felt the desire to report you for it. Hell, given that you seemed to be trying to encourage the Annie, who appears to have been taking the brunt of some toxicity, I would have probably HONORED you and wanted to play with you again. The only two things that strike me as something to avoid, seem to be either a glitch of context, or just bad timing on the report getting flagged. Because it really doesn't seem like you are telling the other player to go die, nor does it seem like you are calling the other player a f@cking r@tard. Just for your own personal edification and safety in the future, you might want to refrain from quoting the toxicity that your teammates can come up with, at least outside of the info box on the report screen, since you do run the risk of the bot picking you up for it.
