I think silver 5 is about as average as can be in terms of skill level. For a guy who hasn't been playing that long it's not bad.

That is a normal starting rank. You will rise or fall based on your performance from now on.

It's kind of the standard rank. I mean for only playing 4-5 months that's pretty damn good. I've seen people play for years and be stuck in Bronze 3.

Consider yourself lucky I keep getting put in low bronze and having to climb back up to where I was the season before. I'm gold 4 and riot will probably put me back in bronze 4 next season after winning all my placement s lol

I spent about a year in NA Bronze V. While there, the most toxic players I encountered claimed to be silver in EUW.

Once you get up to Bronze III people are mostly focused on their own gameplay here. Even Bronze V is fairly positive.

I gotta say though, as a support main I found Silver IV/V to be the most toxic league of all. This is what caused me to switch roles sup->mid. Since I'd pretty well only played support, I started out with 6cs a game. In ranked. People were actually less toxic about this than a 0/3/32 leona.

Silver 5 is just fine for a starting place for playing that amount of time. Just a heads up though, this might be better placed in the general discussion thread rather than player behavior. Nice job on the starting rank though.
