Do i really deserve this ban for flaming in just one game?

Well I got a ban i dont think i deserved I agree i flamed in the first game (first time flaming since a month) but i dont think i was flaming anyone on the 2nd one in the first game i went yasuo top , got a double at min 1 and then lee started babysitting me the volibear flamed me for "dying too much" and then asks everyone to report me

i agree i was flaming, but its just frustating when an idiot doesent even try to play properly and blames thier team, its stupid that these kind of people exist. this is why i never go any other role than jungler , you always get these monkeys who wait for you to die then come take your cs and "you are a bad player".

I am making a simple point. There is no reason to flood the board with vulgarities when a few choice words will convey my point.

And the point is that "cursing" alone will not get you punished. "cursing" AT someone will and I don't see you making that distinction in your comment against the bear

Punishments aren't based solely on flaming, but also general negativity and harassment. Based on your opening that has been a month since last flame, gonna go out on a limb and say you have had prior punishment. If you have, then the ban is the next step after a 25 game chat restrict.

Calling for reports twice, once on Morg and once on Sion. Joke or not doesn't matter.

Telling someone to not play the game.

In regards to another comment you made, you can't be certain the Voli wasn't punished. They could have gotten a chat restriction.

Negativity and harassment is what you asked about.

Asking for reports is considered harassment. It won't get you punished by itself most of the time, but will contribute to punishments.

No, you shouldn't. Because 1 report has the same power as 9 reports in a single game.

Their behavior does not excuse your own.

I might be in the minority here, but I don't see how this warrants a ban.

Also, what is toxic? Your subjective view of how others should behave in a competitive scene? Riot's own "Summoner's Code" is very broad and does not provide a clear framework to differentiate what is considered toxic and what is not.

Apart from the mild swearing, I have seen relatively more inflammatory speech in the Boardrooms of multi-billion dollar companies, Church, School, Radio, National News Channels and U.S. Presidential Speeches.

So no, by conventional standards of competitive behavior, you don't deserve a ban. You won't find vindication here though, in here everyone is a paragon of righteousness or hypocrisy. Then again, whats the difference.
