How to look up banned reason (was told to post it here)

Hello everyone!

I just posted this in the Help&Support section but I was told to put it here (Though I don't fully understand why since my questions doesn't have much to do with player behavior & Moderation .. but here it goes then :) )

I was banned permanently a few days back which came quite out of no where for me. The message in-game said that I should look at my e-mail for the reason but I had not recieved any e-mail concerning the ban (3 days later now still no e-mail). I tried to log-in on the website and it said my account credentials were wrong so I asked for a password reset, that got sent to my e-mail and I was able to change my password but when I tried to log-in to the website it again said that my credentials were wrong.

To my knowledge I haven't done anything bad, deffinitly not perma banable worthy (though I cede that every banned person ever says that so I know that doesn't mean much) and I've never had a punishment other then the 5 minute cooldown for leaving a game lobby. I would just really like to know why I was banned so I can make sense of what happend. Is there a way to find out the reason why I was banned other then looking at the e-mail (that I did not recieve)? I have looked in my spam box and it was also not there.

I've always enjoyed playing league so I'd hate to just lose my main account like this without even knowing why.

I hope someone can help me out and thank you in advance for any effort to help :)

I doubt anyone on board can help you with that. Your best bet would be to try sending ticket to riot support https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and asking them why you got permabanned. If you did nothing nothing wrong and it was a mistake on their part they will also unban you so don't worry too much but remember that perma bans are not given out of blue.

Main reason people are getting permaban is flaming but if you did not do it then there are very few other things that come to mind like account sharing,botting or something related to payment etc. GL though I hope you get unbanned if you are really innocent :P

Keep in mind if you were in-fact banned for account sharing then it IS un-bannable, as only YOU are responsible for your account. However if your account was stolen it's a different matter.

There should be a date you were banned till when you log in, that is actually a code that tells us what you were banned for. So if you can post the year, we'll be able to know what happened.

If it doesn't contain a year, then it means you were banned manually and the only way is to wait for support to reply to the ticket. Keep in mind they don't work in the weekends (which 2/3 days was the weekend) and they operate in PST.

Also don't keep replying to your ticket, as that bumps you to the back of the queue.
