Bronze Rants

First of all this is coming from a bronze player so if you're not interested then please leave. I've been very tilted lately. Like I would be doing very well in the beginning but then my teammates feed (not always) but then the fed enemy would snowball outta control and that's when i start tilting and dying a lot. So many people die from jungle camps that it's insane like how do so many people make that mistake?! I've been to Bronze 2 before but that was a while ago and right after that I demoted to Bronze 5. Now I'm in a death cycle between getting to Bronze 3 and getting demoted to Bronze 4 but at the same time, I'm slowly losing and it's driving me insane that I can tilt this hard. Sure i feed too but I usually do good until a fed enemy just goes straight for me. I am writing this outta rage because I can't stand the fact that I am slowly falling. PS. anyone have any tips for tilting although I know most of them and they don't work for me

I don't know ... What's your problem? The enemy was able to snowball on your bronze mates (and you), you wasn't able to snowball on the enemy bronze player. So I guess the enemy's deserve the win more than you. Get better and start snowball yourself. Isn't that hard btw, I mean you play against the worst ranked player in the whole game [slayer-jinx-catface]

I'm struggling in Bronze too. B4 at the moment. However, lately, I've been able to carry game more consistently. At this rate I have no doubt I can hit Silver by the end of the year. I know exactly what you mean when you talk about tilting. I find it helps to accept that certain games are uncarriable/unwinnable. You just have to accept that.

Now, as I said, I feel myself improving and the single best advice I can give you is to do ranked with at least 3 champions. Your focus should be carrying every single game. So you must be very proficient at these champions. Don't be like those other fools that wanna climb playing 15 different champions. you cannot. You cannot become proficient enough on 15 champs to carry in Bronze as a Bronze. A Diamond player can do that, not a Bronze.

For me its two champions, Azir and Kayle. I know them inside out. I'm far from being the best at them but for a Bronzie, I'm quite good and I can carry hard with them consistently because I understand them so intimately. See for yourself:- http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=xelniya

Look at my ranked games. See the streaks. I lose quite a few but you should see quite a few win streaks where I had a great KDA. I'm usually the one carrying, and I'm getting better at it every week. You can only do that by mastering a couple champs.

just need to get good. map awareness, CSing and positioning are typically the biggest out liers for bronze people.

TBH if u dont get super fed against Bronzes then you dont belong higher than bronze, so there is really no issue.

I know the pain ): Started out at B3, then got demo to B4, then got back to B3, now im at B5.

Im a support main, and ive read people say to take other positions other than support because you cant really carry as a support (Idk what you main) since I cant really participate in the damage other than stun and boost ally attacks. But because im a support main, I struggle having the appropriate champs for other lanes or I do not have enough experience with a champ to play in that specific lane. Im limited to MF and Ahri. But im working on the ability to have atleast 2 champs for each lanes I can play.

  • Anyhow generally, like others have said, map awareness which i think is the biggest key.
  • Make it a habit to get pink wards when you back - saves you from having to ward the same bush each time, plus, an extra ward for map vision, that not only helps you, but your teammates.
  • I cannot fathom this enough, but in team fights, direct you and your teammates to go for the enemys main damage output (ie ADC)
  • Go for objectives, stop chasing the enemy to oblivion.
  • If there is an opportunity where lets say, the enemy champs are dead and respawning, make it a priority to go for towers and push lanes, not back to regen mana/health unless an enemy champ is coming your way.

Thats all I can come up with general gameplay wise. But tilting, I dont know, its a touchy subject since im a huge victim of it. Normally when im tilted, I usually take breaks, eat a lot, potty, stare at the ceiling and think what I have done, and then play again when I feel more confident. I dont like to rush into games after I just finished one up. I like to give myself a few minutes to breathe and then start back up when im ready.

When in game, when I realize im tilting - dying once or twice in the beginning or not getting or giving my adc kills or getting kills at all in solo lane. I like to play really safe. I try not to go aggressive. Make attempts to poke here and there. Focus on CS. Ill farm under or near tower. I dont try to push the lane so hard. Making attempt to always ward so I dont get gank which causes me to rage inside. Map awarness. Always look at the map. Yah...

I dont know what else to say ):

Just know you cant be a superstar in one day. Everything takes practice. Even if you think youre doing good, theres always something you can do better. You just need to be honest with yourself.

Thanks for all your help guys, but like what if there is a afk or if someone is high, I literally have people admit to me that in chat. Is there anything I can tell them to do to catch up besides cs since they can't really have a presence in a teamfight?

allow me to insert a hint of reality,

your rank is determined by LUCK of catching good team mates. snowballing only helps, but if no one has ever seen an end game except you and they all decide to fight in the jg rather than push team objectives until they throw (the bronze special) then in bronze eternal hell you will stay with me.

the only way to rank up is to seek out a group and practice as a group or keep flipping the coin until you get all the heads you need to rank up.
