RIOT'S SUPPORT "INVESTIGATIONS" PLEASE TELL ME YOUR OPINIONS

For those who are reading, and just assume "lol this kid is mad for getting banned". That is certainly not the reason for this post. Today I received a 2 week ban for MMRBoosting. Here is the convo below MMR Boosting Suspension

"Summoner,

Following an extensive audit by the Player Support team at Riot we have decided to ban the account: gloneshot for participating in "MMRBoosting" .

We define "MMRBoosting" as the act of someone other than the account owner logging into an account and playing a ranked match of League of Legends. We take this matter seriously as "MMRBoosting" violates our Terms of Use and creates an unfair environment for other players within League of Legends.

In the future we strongly encourage you to avoid any activities which violate the Terms of Use and Summoner’s Code. Failure to do so will result in the permanent closure of the account."

So naturally I find this terribly alarming as I have never boosted in my 3 seasons of playing, so I messaged good old "Riot Support" for the first time ever here's what I said "My Account was banned for MMRBoosting, which is completely untrue I am a primarily ranked player so I take this accusation very seriously, I am only 17 and have dedicated a lot of time and money into the game. I would like to get in contact with a Riot employee immediately to sort this out. Ranked is the only reason why I play this game, and I have been Plat for most of the season. I would like to request some facts of your accusations, and I would like immediate ratifications. Please help me out League is the only game that I play primarily, and that account has a lot of my time since I do not have a smurf. I am loyal to my account and to Riot so please help me out."

In return I got the most vague unfulfilling response in my opinion this is the response below

"Hello Huntley,

I'm Aurelise and I'm part of the Riot Support team.

Your suspension was only issued after an extensive investigation was run to ensure your involvement in MMR boosting. As explained in the email you received in response to your suspension, the following actions have been taken on your account:

-A two-week suspension has been issued to your account. -All previous Season rewards (Victorious skins, borders, season icons, season ward skins) have been stripped from your account. -You are ineligible for any 2016 Season rewards

While you may feel that this punishment is too harsh, please realize that having accounts boosted, for whatever reason, ruins the spirit of League of Legends competitive play. While you are ineligible for any rewards in the 2016 Season, this does not disqualify you for anything pertaining to the 2017 Season. Keep in mind that if you have any future involvement in MMR boosting, your account will be permanently suspended."

First of all I would like to say no disrespect to Aurelise, but this really told me nothing.

Second as a stated in my response I have 1200+ games of ranked, because that is how I find enjoyment in league, and ultimately with this many games underneath my belt of course I'm going to have my ups and down especially since I am a player who goes on tilt quite often, and sometimes get lucky with a win streak, but usually it's straight back to tilt after a loss. Then out of nowhere a ban for boosting almost a month after the season ended seems very strange. I also find the wording "extensive investigation" completely intolerable if you cannot proceed to reveal some of this investigative material. I am right to assume I was wrongly accused, and I would like retribution, and an overturn, and reinstatement of my rewards.

Finally for the main point of this post is to receive a clearer understanding of what happened to me and maybe others, and even more importantly a better insight into what "extensive investigation" entails.
