How broken does the reporting system have to be before riot actually does something about it?

So league of legends has slowly but surely turned into nothing other than a group of 6 year old girls that are offended by every single thing that leaves your mouth and you get reported for typing literally anything. So this got me thinking, lets see just how broken this retarded system is that they put in place. For the last week on my main account I have reported every single person in every single game that I have played just because why the fuck not? Riot does absolutely nothing about people who report for no reason so lets abuse the shit out of this. In a single week of doing this I got over 50 people banned for what appears to be absolutely nothing. What a fucking joke that is. These people have nobody but riot to thank for these bans too. Sure I could not be a bitch and report every single person every single game, but why shouldn't I? Every single game if you say absolutely anything that could possibly hurt anyone's feelings in any way you get reported for it and riot bans you for it. Is there a system in place for false accusations? Nope. Did riot take the easiest way out that they could find and put in some bull shit automated system that bans people for nothing at all? Yup. The real joke about this is that they do next to nothing for banning people who join a game and intentionally feed or actually do things that ruin a game. They put a mute button into this game a long fucking time ago but that wasn't enough for the care bear community. So now the game has turned to this pathetic excuse of a tampon that everyone bleeds over and nobody wins. Great job riot. Just wanted to take the time to point out what an absolutely AMAZING job you have done at fixing the community.

Before the obvious comments of "another butt hurt person that got banned is raging" or "you're obviously toxic" come flowing in, I have never been banned or even so much as had a temporary suspension. The fact that I can't play a single game without having to worry about every single thing I type is the sole purpose as to why I am writing this. It is ridiculous that you have to sensor things to the point of talking with a 3 year old in order to not get reported is beyond ridiculous.

Unless a player is overwhelmingly, insanely toxic, one report from you over that week would have almost no bearing whatsoever on whether or not that person gets banned.
How exactly have you confirmed these 50 people have been banned?

Blatantly false, suspensions are individually reviewed by Rioters and the automated systems are consistently tested for accuracy.

Blatantly false, the systems to identify this behavior came out with patch 5.18 and have been consistently tweaked since. It just so happens that it's much harder to reliably detect gameplay toxicity than verbal toxicity, but they're working on it.

The mute button's sole intent is to stop subsequent abuse, not prevent it in the first place.

The fact that I can't play a single game without having to worry about every single thing I type is the sole purpose as to why I am writing this.

You can view the systems in any way you want, I suppose, but the reality is that people do not get punished for nothing. I've seen _two _ confirmed cases where someone was wrongfully banned in my six years on the forums, and in both instances Riot overturned the bans.

I will agree only on the part that people are overly sensitive in this game. That much is true since people even report for something as small as saying something to your teammate like try to be passive, or try to coordinate with them for a gank. My personal favorite is when someone asks for a gank and has the lane pushed into the enemy tower. Its like yeah....you wonder why I won't gank for you ever.

Everything else is false to the extreme. The funnest part is you said you had a number for people that got banned. There is absolutely no way you will know who gets banned.

I think the report system seems to be working just fine. I have seen 1 person who came and posted their logs who did not deserve the perma ban. Lyte reviewed the case and reduced it to a chat ban.(Notice action was still required. This was more then a year ago before the automated ban system.)

I read a lot of the false ban posts because I find them amusing and based on the logs and reactions I agree with all of the bans.

Prove that they have a lot or even 5% false bans and I will gladly say that the report system is broken/failing.

Also just because there is a mute button doesn't mean you get to be a jerk.
