Maybe im not seeing it, but what part of this ticket says that this player is being Verbally abusive?

100% of it says this player has a negative attitude, which is just as ban worthy. You weren't a good teammate. When someone insults you, you should mute and drop the conversation, not get into a giant argument. When you're not having fun, you should focus on something you can do, not rage in chat about how the game is lost and everyone should ff. Also, don't get into "report wars". They're immature and pointless.

I never said this was me, just a player. Buddy showed me this and I just wasn't seeing why this was considered verbal abuse.

Yeah, it's not limited to verbal harassment. If you're getting reported consistently, you'll get a punishment, regardless of what exactly you say. He didn't call anyone trash or a %%%got, but from the way he was speaking he may as well have, you know?

Im still confused about it though. If you get punished for being verbally abusive, dont you have to be actually verbally abusive? I can understand if you get punished for being negative but should it not be pointed out what parts are being negative? Otherwise all that needs to happen is that you need enough reports to make the system think that everything you say is offensive regardless if you actually are.

Maybe im just overthinking this. I see so many people cursing out others in game that seeing someone punished for this just doesnt compute with me.

The reason the chat logs are there is to point out out what he's saying that's offending people. Pretty much everything he said was unacceptable and offensive. When you play this game, you're supposed to be a positive or neutral force for your team. If you bombard your teammates with negativity like that, you're ruining the game, and when you do that in almost every game you play (which you need to do to get a punishment), you're a problem in the community.

People that are delusional and refuse to listen to the truth, just report it and claim its verbal harassment. That guy probably reports someone every single game. Nothing that person said can be even remotely misconstrued as verbal abuse, laughable that someone would even argue it was. Like I said hes obviously the delusional type that riot loves to cater to, thanks for ruining this game 100 times over.

Since you said "chat logs for game 1" on top of the logs, I'm assuming there were other logs? The reform card tries to find recent examples. Sometimes it tries a little too hard and games that aren't really that bad (in one interesting example actually a completely blank log) are put in there. But that doesn't mean this log in particular had a huge impact on your ban.

The reform card isn't there to show you the exact details of what got you banned. It's there to provide you examples of your own toxic behaviour so you can see what you did wrong. And the main reason why they even send you multiple logs is so when something like this happens, you have two other logs you can look at.

Edit: As a general piece of advice though: Mute people instead of arguing with them, if you notice it's fruitless (which it is the vast majority of the time). It's better for your sanity, the sanity of the other people in the game and it will also reduce your chance of getting reported for adding to an already negative atmoshpere.

So I bet there are more games.

The system flag games you were recently reported in for the reform card so not all of the games might show high toxicity. However your still pretty negative. And sounds like your spamming surrenders with can get you reported for negative attitude.
