As with the release of every ultimate skin, lux has become quite popular recently. In my most recent lobby i ran across two lux mains, duo queued bot together (they both had lux in their usernames and clantags). I hovered lux as my mid champion. The adc then said that if their support couldn't have lux, they would ban her from me. And they did. As i was higher in the pick order, i really felt that i was the one deserving of my choice in pick. I then said that i could play Ahri instead , and the support proceeded to ban her as well. I'm completely disappointed in the lack of punishment for this behavior. If they wanted to ban her because she might be picked from me, fine, but i was first pick in the draft. They did it out of spite - and i can't mute them in the lobby or anything. I ended up dodging, but someone being able to waste my time like that is disgusting and makes me want to drop the game all together. Thoughts? I'd really love a new report system where you can submit screenshots and report on the league website instead of exclusively in game, but if Riot had the resources to care about this issue i feel like they would've implemented something like that by now.

Don't believe banning your teammates champs is bannable, but it's a messed up move.

Actually it is a punishable offense. Intentionally banning a team mate's intent specifically to prevent them from using it, falls under Negative Attitude (Griefing), as not only is it unsportsmanlike conduct, but can have negative repercussions on the player (and thus team's) match, since it can put the team off on the wrong foot mentally. and can completely mess up or ruin the player's/team's strategy

In this case, the OP should not have had either his Lux or Ahri intents banned out by his own teammates. I recommend they use the report function in the post-match lobby or send in a Riot Support ticket with any evidence of the game in question to them (Click the Support button at the top or bottom of this page)

This is why you never show your champ intent because of ***holes like that as the mid or top laner.

report them after game and add a note to the report. maybe even a screen shot link. I hate it when people do that

So you dodge and basically gave them a free pass to continue to do that. The system only works when we as a community work together to get people like this out. You had every reason to report them since what they were doing was unsportsmanlike behavior. Its not tolerated and you werent helping when you just left. Since we have no way of reporting in Champ select we have to do it end game.

I mean its not like this is a rare occurrence. Like you said this basically happens when a new skins/champion comes out. People want to play them and while there is a chance other people in the same team/game want to as well we cant always get what we want.

Make Elemental Fizz that spawns sharknados with his ultimate, and elemental skills and then we will see a lot of him...

Also a Elemental Shyvana wouldn't be a bad idea where (Fire) Deals damage over time (Ice Slows) (Air Gives speed boost) and Water gives HP regen or something like that lol, oh forgot earth, Armor / MR.

It's fairly simple i believe, save the intended champ for Ranked and hopefully your team takes that more seriously. however the safest way is just to ask people to ban xyz please and after bans then declare your champ.

I've had this happen to me pretty recently actually. The worst part tho is when they blame is on, "I have ADHD/autism/cancer/downs, I don't understand what's going on, stop shouting you're making my head go owie"...

Making fun of people with real mental issues is BEYOND fucked up.

  1. don't hover your intended champ
  2. If you pick lux and they ask for lux, don't say anything, if you say "no" they will troll
  3. if they threaten to troll regardless, hope they leave or you leave. its a bad team. 1 is bad, 2 is worse.
  4. if they ban lux early, dodge out or pick a different champ, she's considered P2W with new skin.
  5. still want to play her? play Coop vs ai or custom.

It sucks that there are selfish players like these around, but two wrongs don't make a right either.
