Wunna know why this community will never improve??

So this is the perfect example why the LoL community will always be cancer. My account just got banned because three games where someone on my team either didnt get the position they wanted in que because of the auto fill or their champion was banned during banning. They openly admitting to purposefully feeding and troll picking. One went teemo mid and fed, one went Bard ADC bot and fed, and the other went Tahm and just walked around to all lanes and fed. Of course my teammates and myself had some choice words for these people, mine being no worse then anyone else. We all begged the other team to report these people, but instead the honored the people feeding and reported us for yelling at him. Now im banned for 2 weeks because i cursed at people for ruining mine and 3 others experience in 3 different matches. Seems fair right? And i know people are going to see this post and be like "this dude's in bronze", "well dont be toxic", etc. But realistically, we've all been in these games and we know how frustrating it can be. So i yelled at them....is that really worse then what they are doing?! Ive played this game since season 2. I love this game. But this is where i draw the line. more then half the games ive played this season have had trolls, feeders and just flat out unskilled players and these are all reportable things. Yet im the one getting banned. You've lost a long time fan of the game Riot, and im sure you could care less.

gotta learn when to dodge some games. All that frustration could have been avoided for some LP.

I don't think the community is that bad. Every game's community has its ups and downs. You gotta just accept the loss when that happens and just report them. They will get looked at when they get enough reports, or alot in a short time.

You can't blame riot for what people do, these developers are very vocal and thats one of the reasons why i like this game.

The way the Instant Feedback System works, it only takes one report from one player in the match to flag the game to be reviewed by the system. It doesn't matter who started what or who was the bigger troll or who was the most toxic on the team. If you did something wrong, and someone reports you, the automated system may put it on your reform card.

It's never cool when people troll, feed, or get toxic, but it's also not cool to retaliate.

It sucks so hard to have to go through a match and deal with this sh*t, and everyone here has been through it before. However, the only thing you can do is mute the offender and then report them after the match. Report calling, telling someone you're muting them, and other forms of retaliation can all be perceived as unsportsmanlike conduct and are in fact reportable offenses.

I am not trying to troll or be a dick, but ignoring the fact that league is known for being one of the most toxic games on the internet, while yes it is sad that the people "inting" were not punished, you still deserved it in my opinion for being toxic in chat yourself. Being an unranked currently but having played ranked before and having a Silver 5 MMR last time i checked, which should make me about as average at this game as possible, so I would expect to also get as many toxic people as you, but I really haven't. I also want to say that just being an unskilled player is not a reportable offense, if someone is sadly just not good at the one champ they "main" or always push up without warding and dies again and again or doesn't ping when his laner leaves and that causes someone else to die or anything like that is not a reportable offense like the people that you say said in chat that they are purposely feeding or trolling. Also, as sad as it is,if you leave by yourself or even with the other 3 people you played with it will have almost no effect on the game revenue or the community at all.

Short answer to your question: pessimism.

Where do you expect league to get better as a community? The random person you got queued up with over whom you have no control? Or yourself?

There are toxic people that play this game as is the case with any other game, online or not. It's up to you how you respond to it. ( I was second guessed at trivia last week. Tiny Toon Adventures had fewer seasons than the Animaniacs did, Greg!)

On the bright side, your punishment is a 14-day ban. There's still time to improve and not get the permaban, the next escalation in punishment!

It seems like you're already aware of a few measures to take against toxic players (report/mute). I'd also suggest maybe taking a break from ranked. Maybe play 2 normals with 1 ranked. I find it less stressful, because people take ranked more seriously. Or play some ARAM, that tends to be a less stressful environment. But you do still get the occasional "omg you're not good at this random champ you just got" player.

With all sincerity, enjoy your 2-week ban and come back a better and wiser player.
