What do players truly consider Toxic?

Riot the almighty has a very loose definition of Toxicity in my opinion. I just want to know what players believe is really a problem. I believe that riots definition of being toxic is being mean to other players. That's fine but in my opinion i don't care if some rando is being mean to me unless he's also playing like trash and losing us the game (but i'm still gonna report him cause i think it's funny that he could lose his account). I've noticed in my games, usually players only report each other when they lose, and the majority of toxicity comes from losses. So, is it the players actually crying out to Riot because they are sad/mad about what another player said to them or are they just trying to get him banned because they are salt that they lost the game and it's 2 simple clicks in the pregame lobby? I can understand banning people for running it down mid or typing constantly to the point that they are basically AFK but is calling someone a bad name really the end of the world?

  1. Truly hurt
  2. The more bans the merrier

Secret 3rd option: I'm not personally hurt or offended, but that player's behavior was inappropriate and made for a decidedly less enjoyable game experience.

The only thing that can make the game a less enjoyable experience imo is somebody playing poorly in a ranked game. By this I mean being lazy on vision, afking under tower until minions spwan instead of watching for invades, and playing a champion that they havent truly practiced in ranked. As far as the poll goes I report everyone all the time just becasue I assume I'm getting reported by everyone all the time

Neither. I report because I have to follow the rules. If I have the willpower to stfu in the face of horrible teammates, berating insults, and trolling... then you do too. Why do I have to be quiet, while you get to say whatever the fuck you want? No. You're getting reported. If I have to follow the rules, so do you. If I have the ability to not type insults to a stranger, so do you. You don't get a free pass. That's why I report.
