Elohell exists ...

... but it's not in Bronze/Silver but in high Plat/low Diamond.

Playing Plat 1 for some weeks and I never saw such a high amount of disgusting players.

  • Enemy botlane gets one kill? Your bot starts to flame each other.
  • Playing jungle and your opponent ganks successfull a lane? "gg they got the better jungler".
  • You just died? Prepare for those "?" pings or "[your champion] respawning in x sec."-calls
  • Enemy is leading and everyone still wants to do those teamfights.
  • Everyone blames their jungler for not ganking their lane 24/7
  • Never get a gank on toplane and everyone expects you to beat a Jayce as Darius (feelsbadman)

All of my teammates have diamond-borders so I can assume that 80% of them are just boosted animals or just incredibly cocky because they reached D5.

m8, can i tell u one thing!

Its hell everywhere.

I have gone in games where people have gold borders, or even plat and when you see them in game its like just "wow..wooow". And it is NOT meant in a positive way. they go feed, feed and when they done flaming more feed:)

I dont know if they were gold last season, but judging from the play, i might say its bought accounts:)

I only say one thing and quote this from the movie forrest gump

"This game and the matchup is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're gonna get"

I feel ya:)

This season does seem incredibly toxic so far. I was happy at first because I feel like I am playing better than I was last season, when I was gold, and after shrugging off the first few losses due to ragequitters and feeders I soon found to my dismay that they occur so frequently that they caused both my demotion and prevented my soon-following would-be promotion.

It feels like one step forward, two steps back with the sheer number of people who seek to throw games and are utterly selfish. I figure that statistically I will eventually climb, but it's so disheartening when only a handful of losses have been genuine my team being outplayed, and the majority are someone simply throwing entirely on purpose (and admitting as much in chat). I have reported each time, but it seems that little if any action has been taken. Perhaps later in the season after the reports have a chance to pile up things will even out a bit.

It even takes the victorious feeling out of my wins, knowing that the enemy team probably had the toxic feeder that time around. :/

Yup it sucks

oh well

Pray to match making gods and get lucky.

If you're doing well and can beat lane 9/10 times every game.. You might hold a 55% winrate rofl

Play broken Solo laners, I heard it's a good way to climb D5+

Elo hell exists when you are unable to carry your games(aka win) it exists everywhere, it is not centered on the top 15% of the player base

I was G5 in flex Q, in my promos to G4. Up until that point, I was playing against silver people. Recently, I was matched with high plat - diamond people, maybe because I had a Plat5 guy in my premade. Still a huge leap in the matchmaking, everyone on my team and enemy team were way above my ranking.

I see what you're saying. Silver - bronzies are obviously less skilled and do more obvious mistakes, and you kinda understand when they do. But when high plat - diamonds do some mistakes that seem silly, it seems so much worse, because you don't expect that from them. Like, I'm Shen with both tp and ulti up, and my ADC QUINN, of all champions, doesn't wanna group with the team and let me splitpush bot, since Baron is up, but instead follows me. Like, this is a mistake that those guys shouldn't be doing and is tilting you way more than a silver guy doing it, thus making diamond more elo-hell than lower elo.
