I got on LoL today and I couldn't log in, because it said I was Parmanently suspended for using 3rd party applications for the game?? I was so confused when I saw this because I play on my brothers PC that he also uses to play LoL. So I told him about my ban and he told me he installed a zoom mod that he uses. He told me it was allowed and everyone uses it. Is my account really going to be suspended permanently now because of this??
Look2 votesContact Riot through support, and try your best to explain to them what happened. It's bad luck that this happened, but Riot has at multiple times stated that no third party programs that directly interfere with the client is allowed.

Kao Atlantis3 votesTypically Riot can't tell if you were the one who installed them or not. I am not saying you are lying, but it would be very unlikely that someone didn't know that they installed a third-party modification to League of Legends.
Why don't you get a warning when you install it? Because you have to physically install the mod on your computer, Riot assumes you would know it's there. Also, if they warned everyone running third-party mods, it would give information to the people who make them, which they can use to get around Riot's security that they have built into League of Legends to prevent people from modifying it.
If you want to contest it and have Riot look into your account, you can always send them a support ticket. Be respectful, to the point, and clear if you send the ticket. However, third-party modification of any kind is strictly forbidden in the Terms of Use, so don't be too surprised if they don't reverse the ban.

If you want to make sure that he is banned report him in your complaint ticket, about getting perma banned.
Anything that changes how league works is against the rules. Your bother was lying to you that it is ok and everyone uses it.

Use of third-party program is a serious offense. You don't get away from it by simply giving the blame on someone else, even if it's true.
