Just got a pop-up on the client saying that they are letting me know that my recent report was received, verified and that a penalty was issued. I always thought that no one received the reports and that the just went into an email box somewhere.

Way to go RIOT!

Nice to know reports actually do something.

it actually does,it go to a person. The reports are verified by a bot an punishments dished out when people's behavioral history passes a certain point.

You also only get the notification if your reproted game was the one that got them punished. If they play another game and get punished there, you'll never see a notification.
