Tribunal a joke?

Before I start ranting, I just want to clear the air a little bit... I am not a person who seeks attention on forums...you can see that by the amount of posts I have....which makes this a single one I think. If there is another, it was made ages ago...And considering I have been playing LoL since season 2, it sums things up a bit.

I'd like to hear other peoples thoughts on the Tribunal system. To me personally, it feels like a joke! Everyday, and I mean everyday, I have to go through several games where there is at least 1 player trolling. The game I was in just now, it started with one player and than spread like a disease, and ended up with 3 players being ignorant to say the least. Surrenders rejected several times, feeding, acting out and on top of that the enemy team was happy collecting kills and didn't want to push and finish early...I mean for the first game of the day this was a pretty fucking shitty experience. And as I said, there are several games a day where at least one person is trolling.

To continue...my time allows me, maybe 5 games a day (which is very rare), usually 3 is the number I can get to. So imagine how I feel playing 3 games a day and 2 of them I have to deal with at least one person trolling. Be it insta-locking, feeding, being ignorant, etc... I'm sure I am not the only one with this experience, so I'd like to hear other persons experience/thoughts.

Tribunal's been shut down for about three years now, give or take.

Shitty players exist, but the amount of trolls you claim to encounter makes me suspect you're attributing trolling to too wide a variety of people. There's nothing wrong with refusing to surrender just because you're behind, or with having a bad game and falling behind, or not having the same level of game knowledge you do.

weird cause rank actually has nothing to do with one's toxic plays.. and for the record i have made gold a couple of seasons of playing ranked.. do i think they are a little tight on their punishments? yes and no.. sure online bullying is a cowards way to make themselves feel better but if ones feelings are so fragile that when someone calls them "a feeding noob and uninstall the game" then maybe they should stay away from games like these.. every game will have flaming.. just like every game will have strong and weak players.. Riot needs to bring back the Tribunal and let the community police some of these lower toxic players and leave the larger toxic players to riot themselves..

but like i said.. the problem with toxic players is usually just them thinking they are better then they really are.. and just blaming other for their short comings..

so to say that "Hard Stuck silvers" have no say.. news flash friend.. more then 70% of the community are low gold all the way down to bronze.. so ya we have just as much a say as u LCS pro wannabes.,,,

well your comments on this board hold soo much weight.. 8 total life time up votes.. epic.. shows alot of people on here agree with what you have to say... and ya i have been in silver more then gold.. so what. im not a toxic little shit like you are.. im far from being a "softie" as you put it.. I just dont choose to engage in an in game chat battle that doesnt prove a thing.. but im pretty sure when i looked up your profile it said silver 4 or something and also that you already have a chat ban on your account.. ya you are the prime example on how this community should behave..

  1. Being bad is not necessarily trolling. They just bad. Infact, they might be inclined to really troll you if you were toxic to them.

  2. The tribunal never solved anything gameplay related. Tribunal was strictly for chat purposes and has been obsolete for close to 3 years now.

#2 is not entirely true, but its focus was chat related offenses.

That was more like:

  1. Toxic Player: stfu or I feed
  2. Sees that toxic player has a score of 0/20/1
  3. Clicks punish regardless of what his chat says afterwards

If Riot is using a different system, what is it? Did I miss something, quite possibly. :) Feels like the trolls keep happening and multiplying... ;)

IFS has replaced the tribunal.

Trolls are just slower to detect due to the fact that scanning chat is super easy for the IFS to scan vs player behavior peeps watching replays.

I get an AFK once in a while, nothing worth making a post about. Haven't seen somebody run it down mid in months.

I'm not talking about being behind, game knowledge, or any of that sorts. I'm talking about Darius going to Riven to get hit and then standing under the turret to give a kill. Or Draven running from enemy team and bringing them to me so they kill me too. And when Akali realized she lost the lane to Zed , decide that she will join in the party and jump 1v3... And so on....I didn't record the game (sadly) but to make me o rant on the forums it had to be really awful, trust me.

Refusing to surrender is not a crime, agreed. But then you have 3 turrets down @ 7min mark and 3 players feeding...well I wouldn't call that anything else then X rated! :)

I haven't seen people with such behavior in my past 50 games.

Probably one of those things where you had a really bad experience and you continue to recall the bad experience whenever you see something negative.
