Is this worthy of a permanent ban?

Hello! My friend was recently warranted a permanent ban (he has only been punished once before), and he showed me the dialogue that supposedly got him banned. Now, I'm not biased or anything but don't you think getting PERMANENTLY banned for the following dialogue below is just a little absurd?

If you want some context, he told me that in game 1 he was in an argument with both a troll (an Udyr) and a toxic player (a Zed). In game 2, there was an intentionally feeding Vayne but that was about it.

Would this be considered "immensely toxic" -- and does it deserve a permanent ban?

Did he get banned before, because the ban system works like this.

1st offense: 10 game chat restrict 2nd offense 25 game chat restrict 3rd offense or first big offense(racism/hate speech) 14 day ban 4th offense Perma ban.

So there are 2 routes in which you can get permabanned.

Route one: get banned 4 times without realizing that you should stop flaming. Route two: get banned 2 times with one being an extreme case of flaming.

Seems worthy of a punishment.

If he had a prior 2 week ban, then a permanent ban is the next step.

Is this an automated system? In my eyes, the first one from him is kind of "ragey," but definitely not worth a permanent ban / formal punishment. The second one shouldn't even be there, there's nothing in that dialogue that is toxic.

He is permanently harassing his teammates. Its toxic, its worthy of a punsihement..

He did not get a perma for this alone, his previous penalties are taken into account as well. Its pretty much the same as with your drivers license: Drive to fast once, you keep it; keep driving to fast even after getting caught and reprimanded etc etc, and finally you wlll loose it, as you demonstrated that you arenÄ't able to stick to the rules.

Same here; you said he already had a ban. That means, he already was extreemly toxic in his past and refused to stop. Hence, permaban, since its obvious he will not stop flaming.

He singled out a player in both games, calling them troll and threatening them with reports.

The question isn't whether this is worthy of a permaban, but whether or not it's worth a chat restriction. It is, and since he had a two week ban previously, then the next punishment is a permaban.

If he recently got hit with a 14 day ban (after like March of last year give or take) then I agree w/ the ban. He hard flamed his teammates, while he didn't curse all that much or use vulgar language it was still a lot of flaming. Introduce your buddy to the mute button.
