Low Priority qualification

Hey so Just crashed out of a game in loading, something about DX not working, no idea. Couldn't load back in as it kept repeating the error. Restarted PC, all fine, been dropped into low priority because of disconnect. Alright, that's fair, I get that. Don't mind waiting a few minutes to stop others who drop deliberately.

What I'm not so sure on is why I, for one, DC, got straight up the 20 minute wait time. Thought that was for repeat offenders? Yes it was a ranked game, no I've got a clear history before that.

AFAIK it was a tiered system for penalties non?

The LeaverBuster system is supposed to be a tiered punishment system where a player begins with a 5 minute low priority queue, then 10 minute, and lastly a 20 minute. While ranked match leaves are considered more severe than leaves in normals, it still should not have jumped you directly to a 20 minute LPQ for a first offense. That's a bit odd. You might want to send a ticket in to Player Support and ask them why you were escalated directly to 20 minutes. There may have been a bug in the system with the multiple attempts to load back in that considered you as leaving multiple times even though it was just one match. If so, they may be able to lower your tier back to the 5 minute low priority queue.
