Automated Chat Restrictions -- Too Much
Hi, I try very hard not to be toxic. I try to word myself so that it can only be taken as advice or pleas to not do something or to do something. This effort brings me more wins when I get teammates on the same page. But, we all know that sometimes people just want to feed and blame everyone else around them. I've been confused as of late because I keep getting chat restricted in games in which I get flamed nonstop by the person feeding. Then when the game is over, I am then chat restricted. Well, I go into my next game after an inting botlane where the adc just quit at 9 minutes. I got flamed for 6 straight minutes by the support. The postgame I told him to eat a dick, and have a nice day. I think this is a pretty deserved insult for calling me a "nerd who can't get pussy lel xD". However, when i got into the next game I was chat restricted, and autofilled support. My adc picks vayne, in pregame I give that person all the reasons why I feel vayne is poor in the meta and vayne agrees but says they are good on it. I pick a complimentary support and support counter matchup. I get into the game and reallize I am chat restricted for 10 games, for getting literally harassed to the point of teammates coming to my defense in chat. Seems unfair, but then I bind the jhin with my morgana r3 bind and flash ignite ult him, vayne continues to cs however, even though we have the minion advantage. I would have loved to say, hey vayne, if a target is not able to move, maybe aa that target, in the friendliest most non toxic way I could think of, but I couldnt. My vayne proceeds to do nothing and die repeatedly. My heart wanted the vayne to succeed, and I felt I had the sort of advice necessarry to help the vayne, but I couldn't. Let's lane swap vayne! etc.
I can't continue to play this game if I keep getting chat restricted because children reported me because THEY inted and HARASSED me, its unbelievable unsettling and annoying and just irritating. I have always been a "good summoner" until the tribunal was removed. The people always had my back after checking logs. Your automated system doesn't do this. Maybe your automated system should run its chat toxicity filters through the REPORTING PLAYER before then applying it to the REPORTED player. Maybe if the REPORTING player is toxic af, maybe don't believe his report as valid.
I think it could be a good idea, and also I would like my account reverted to a non-restricted state. Any rioter who could comply would really make my day, I don't feel like going out of my way to submit a ticket and all that jazz because, well, honestly I am just irritated beyond belief. I try to relax and play some league and these things happen. I am going to always be honor 1 if people keep being immature and can't understand how to communicate with another human being. "OH THIS GUY THINKS IM NOT PERFECT, BETTER REPORT HIM LEL XD". Before, it meant nothing because of tribunal, but now its a serious issue I am facing when trying to explain various things to laners.
I am not going to say that I am not toxic at all, being berated and harassed non-stop by children really irks me, and sometimes I let them know I am not enjoying their illogical bullshit. Sure, but do I outright verbally harass them while sitting in fountain, never. Has it happened to me before, yes, have I been chat restricted for it, yes. This shit is genuinely unnacceptable, and I think you'd agree if you had some of the same experiences as me.
Text wall, sorry. I am half tempted to put this post in "report a bug" but that'd be too cheeky.
You can show me my chat logs all you want, but at the end of the day I whole-heartedly believe that Tribunal would have had my back before. I got a temporary ban in like 2010 and then nothing for about 7 years until tribunal was taken away. The difference is relatively terrifying to me.
Quick Edit Addition: Honestly, I shouldn't be afraid to ask my teammates to do something for fear of not being able to say anything again, and also the fact that these chat restrictions are piling up on my account and I am going to start getting autobanned?
