so i got banned for saying "%%%", but the guy who said "n***ger" didnt?

so you got tilted when your opponents play super tryhards and cant complain, but being racism is ok?

way to go riot, really good work at banning players.

I mean you don't know if he got banned or not.

Since riot doesn't disclose punishments of other players to you.

The fact you assume that simply appalls me.

You don't always get the notification. If he said that and you reported him then he's banned.

When your report is the last report used by the system to determine that they should be punished there is a chance to receive a notification. If someone else reported them 5 seconds before you from the same game, the notification chance goes to them.

Not every punishment creates a notification.

All i said the whole game was:

"%%%" after he invaded my jungle a milion times as nid, super tryhard.

and "gg %%%" when the game is over.

and their mid laner who invaded my jg with her jgler was being racism at the end of the game.

I mean i was just complaing that i wasnt having fun against desperate-want-to-win players in a fking normal game.

Those things that become %%% on the forum automatically escalate the punishment you receive. Don't type those things if you don't want the account punished.

How do you know he didn't get punished? For all you know he did. Regardless though telling someone to kill themselves will always result in a punishment as it's unacceptable in any context, so playing the innocent card won't help you here. Post your chat logs if you're looking to have an actual discussion about your ban.

P.S. Not saying that he's innocent either (assuming what you said is true), but someone else behaving poorly doesn't mean your own poor behavior gets a free pass.

im not playing innocent, if he gets banned ill receive a notification from riot right? but i didnt.

And i got banned when i just end another game after the trash-talk game.

Riot is really working great on their efficiency but sanity.

You only get that notification if your report was the one to trigger a punishment. Not getting it doesn't mean that they went unpunished but that your report wasn't the straw that broke the camels back so-to-speak there.

This isn't all that unusual, but from my understanding this can happen if the IFS happens to issue you a punishment while you're in the middle of the game, only giving you that notification once the games concluded. Someone else with more info on this can possibly provide a better explanation though.

ok this leaves a fair problem. The ops opponent used %%%%%% as a racial abuse, the op then reported the abuse, and the op did not get a notification telling him the abuser is banned because his report because the op is not the last one that reported the abuser.

first problem is that the abuser clearly violated the codes and conduct of the game with a racial abuse and was not banned immediately! does this no imply an inefficiency with the current report system?

sec problem if he is banned why not send an notification to all who contributed to his ban? the most disheartening aspect of league is that too many abuser are not punished, if you riot said they are but the player doesn't know about it. it really doesn't help because the player has no reason to assume the abuser will be punished. we simply wouldn't be able to tell who is getting punished and not punished. it is like a legal system where the family of the murders victims has no way of finding out the sentence that the murders get, would you like to live in a world like that? and that world is the league of legend at its current state.
