If you said nothing, then you wouldn't get punished. Its surprisingly that simple. Mute them and report them instead of attempting to "defend" yourself.

Oh ok that makes a lot of sense - I guess I have to literally never say a single fucking word because apparently even saying goodbye after you kill someone is considered reportable now. Yet people can be more toxic than a teemo mushroom and nothing happens to them.
