Honor system flawed? (bug?) (Information I am unaware of?)

Hello! I am currently honor level 2. I have a friend who has a broken computer so he can only play on my laptop. Due to the circumstances he can only play while at my house. When we play I get honored way more often and receive more honors. I also get honored alot when he is not available to play, and I spend alot of time on the game in comparison to him. He is now honor level 4 and I am confused as to how that worked out. I am not sure if the honor system takes into account honors before the update? My account is new due to certain circumstances so I do not have as much progress BEFORE the honor update. I am glad that he got honor 4 but am very curious as to why I am still at level 2. I value any and all input.

If I remember correctly, valid reports even if they don't lead to punishment will slow down the accumulation of honor levels. I can't find the 'All About Honor' post anymore, so I don't have a source.

what about when premade people team up against someone and he flames in deffense and he gets 2 reports from them like its so unfair he will get reports with no fault

There is no defense in flaming.

If a group of people are teaming up to annoy you, they're unlikely to offer any useful information for the rest of the match. Mute them both. (defense) And then, report them both (Officially sanctioned retaliation). Getting a chat restriction or ban hurts them worse than any words you can say. Also, flaming them back is the response that most trolls are looking for.

If you're reported and you did nothing wrong, nothing will happen. No punishments, no slower honor. If you get reported when you flamed people, you get the punishment that is given to people who flame.
