Completely sick of how a group of people can flame one person so hard that he decides to fight back and they report him and only he gets a full ban... My friend lost his account he has had since beta because of this and it looks like our entire squad will no longer be playing league because he refuses to start a new account after having spent 2300 dollars on the game through the years to get permabanned after telling some especially rude players to "fuck off"

See, few things wrong with that. You don't JUST get a permaban, that doesn't happen, there are mistakes here and there sure, but you don't just instantly get a permaban out of nowhere. To get a permaban, you need to not only be getting reported constantly as one game's worth of reports isn't enough to trigger the system. So either you are telling me that he is the unluckiest man alive and he constantly gets waves of people harassing him for no reason, or what is far more likely, he leaps on anyone who he thinks slights him, he flames them, and this group was finally the straw that broke the camel's back with these reports.

they do indeed slight him there's no question about it so many assholes in this game just from few bad enounters you'll get banned you have 3 chances not 100 so you can't tell these are just bad encounters or the person is "toxic"

You have far more than 3 chances. If you're only mildly toxic, you have a lot of extra leeway before getting punished.

Remember, Riot cares about frequency of toxicity as well. If every 200 games I flame the shit out of one particular asshole, as long as I'm completely non-toxic for the other 199 and I don't trip the zero-tolerance filter, it'll take a long time for me to get punished, if I ever do.

There are very few things Riot punishes for if it happens infrequently enough. Severity*Frequency is what determines if a punishment happens.

######Note: Please do not flame the shit out of anyone, not even once every 200 games. This is a hypothetical example.

No, you have far more then three. It takes three punishments past the initial one to get permabanned yes, but you have MANY chances as it doesn't immediately trigger right after a report.

3 chances the last one isn't actually a "chance" since it gets you permabanned we won't count minor toxicity since it doesn't usually get flagged unless its coupled with "real" toxicity and everyone is toxic sometimes even a little bit there are no angels on earth

Indeed, no one is, hence why it takes a fair amount of reports to even get flagged by the system. Hell, went off on a Kha Zix flaming me and my allies while he was feeding yesterday, difference is, I don't do it every game, I rarely if ever, and I only do it to defend myself and I have been playing since season 1, and not even a chat restriction.

yes and i also like to believe good standing reduces chances of u getting restricted if u act toxic in one game..not really fair to others because u could gain a good standing by not knowing where your enter key in your keyboard is but meh..

it means typing less helps..people can get their accounts to good standing by rarely using chat and that takes no effort

more talkative people get punished more whenever they step into a red area

yeah he has had a chat restriction and 7day ban in his playtime since beta, the problem is those dont ever roll off, they stick to the account. so if u got a 2week ban today you could then technically get permabanned two years down the road without anymore reports till the perma. If Tyler1 can show he is doing "better" but time between offenses doesn't then ya got me beat dude.

Except they do roll off, just the amount of time it takes for them to roll off is also tied with not getting a decent amount of reports which is likely he couldn’t do seeing as he got permabanned.
