I feel Riot should change their banning system for the better.

So currently and I could be wrong but as I was just permabanned I feel like the ban system only takes into account what you say and not what your teammates say. Like hands down I know I was toxic but after your team constantly flames you the whole game its kinda hard to keep calm and not say anything back. Then when you get out of the game the whole team reports you for toxicity when they initially started the flame. I personally don't flame until someone flames me and I'm sure there's a lot of other out there that do the same. I feel like riot should read what they say too because if they did I feel a lot less people would be banned. I know I definitely get tilted when my team flames me and I just tell them all to kill themselves, or I did until I was banned. Im aware this behavior isn't necessary but its very aggravating when 3 people on your team are criticizing you calling you trash telling you to kill yourself and just all around being toxic, so I feel in those situations it should be somewhat justified. Like if your team started the flame first, then the game should be null for being reported.

Being flamed isn't justification for flaming back. If you are getting flamed, you have two options:

  1. Try to dissolve the situation. Peacefully. If you can't ease a situation down, then you have option two.
  2. Ignore/mute everyone who's flaming you. Don't fight back, don't fuel the fire, just drop it, mute them, and move on.

And always report afterwards.

Eye for an eye, whole world goes blind.

Be responsible for your own actions.

Why??? I got Perm ban and came back and i have yet to get a chat or anything? I learned my lesson and the system works... I lost an account i had sense season 1... Yes i cried but it was my own fault. So no they do not need to change the ban system. When someone flaming me. I just say Ok ty and mute them. Your in control of ur own actions not the person flaming you.

Society operates because people do not take matters into their own hands. Our society as humans is based around authority figures having the ability to punish, retaliate, etc. When people take matters into their own hands, it's called anarchy.

You were banned because regardless of who started it, you were toxic. You were given chances to realize this, and you didn't, thus you get banned again. Riot does not care whether you're calling the Queen of England a twat over and over again for no reason, or whether you're responding to someone that told you to kill yourself, if you are toxic, you risk getting punished.

You are free to mute someone so you do not have to see their toxicity. Why you chose not to do that, I don't know and can't tell you.

As someone else said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind".

I understand why they do it, but it's ridiculous that out of all the games ive said nothing and reported them I've only had one action taken on someones account. Where as they are free to be as toxic as they please without reprimand meanwhile I get banned for responding with toxicity back. It's an unfair system when you cannot defend yourself. They tote that rather then permanently muting someone for communication they try to better the community by warning but all this ban made me do is enter the game and /mute all from the very start. So essentially perma muting myself anyway. It's a ridiculous system that doesn't work as efficiently as it should. Theres no way im in the ".000006 percent of players toxic enough to get permabanned" Seeing as every game there's someone 10x more toxic then me. This is why I feel their system needs an overhaul of somekind. You say an eye for and eye makes the whole world blind. So im supposed to let someone poke my eyes out while he walks around with 20/20 vision? Clearly there's something wrong with that. I'm reformed in the sense I just dont talk in the game anymore with anyone. No glhf, no gg, no mia top, I just ping my lane missing and that's it. Seeing as the system is so flawed that one cannot defend their "honor" and must just tolerate the toxicity within the community I propose they do something about it. I may be the only one that feels this way but Im quite upset for receiving said permaban for defending myself when I've dedicated so much hours and money to the game. Riot as the greedy corporation they are do not care about the opinions of their community but rather care about the facade of a anti-toxicity system that works. There's clear issues that need to be addressed to truly have a system that would be beneficial to those who want to play the game without toxicity.
