League has a mature language filter. People cry and report when language is used.

Please cry more LoL

Reports for mature language will not affect you, reports for being a jerk and cursing your teammates out will. That's just the way riot's system works.

If you don't like it that way, the majority of people, and more importantly Riot, want it that way, so nothing is going to change.

Ah, yes. The 'ole "I can cuss because there is a filter."

Nope. It won't save you.

I curse ALL THE F@CKING TIME IT CHAT. I say that dumb whore of a sailor is f@cking impossible to escape sometimes (MF's Ult) or to "Beat that top Tower Down like it's a dirty whore, all these @ssholes are bot" (to signal that top should push hard, because it's 5v2 bot and there's no chance any of them will make it back up there). Do I get reported a lot? Yes. Warnings a lot? Yes. Penalties? Nope.

It's not mature language that gets you reported and punished. That IS the reason for the filter. You can decide you don't want to hear me curse like I'm gangplank. What's reportable is if I'm spamming that, excessively cursing, or being negative. If you're telling your team mates they're f@cking dumb and sock because they didn't come rescue you during a gank... you're negative and should be reported. If you want to use mature language... BE F@CKING MATURE ABOUT IT.

I just report anyone who swears at anyone else but themselves. In other cases, mature language doesn't bother me.

"Fuck me, I missed that" - tolerable "stfu" - reported. And yes, the guy used "f", but we all know what that means.
